I just lost my trophies from this game for some reason. whys it have to be so buggy. anyway deleting saves and game data and reinstalling cos otherwise it wont let me boot the game any more.

There is currently a PSN issue that is effecting all PS3s that aren't Slims.

SCEA is looking into widespread reports tonight of PlayStation Network login errors causing many left unable to play games, and even lose trophies, on certain PlayStation 3 consoles.

Is this game good? I am thinking of getting it.

damn have to wait for them to fix that. then getting my heavy rain trophies back quickly wont be too difficult with the experience i've gotten so far.

Consumers in the UK poured out the pounds for PS3's Heavy Rain last week, according to Chart-Track's all-formats chart. The adventure game took the hill from Aliens vs. Predator, which slipped down one spot. Meanwhile, Just Dance kept doing its cha-cha of endurance and took third.

Nintendo's Wii Fit Plus got a second wind (or a big shipment to the region) and overtook Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 after moving up five spots and into fourth. Finally, Napoleon: Total War marched in at #12 while White Knight Chronicles began its quest at #35.

Not sure what kind of numbers are behind it, but it's a nice start. Now let's see what kind of numbers we pull from the NA market.

man when did all this start cuz i was playing Wolverine around 10(CST) last night for about half an hour and i had no problems- even collected about 3-4 trophies. my friend called me this morning and said he tried playing at midnight and all this crap was happening.

You must of lucked out, javi, because I'm in that time zone and it was out at about 8 PM

I didn't know trophies could get corrupted.

Do you end up losing all of them, or only for one game...or what? I thought trophies were protected from that sort of thing.

Then again, I also thought games were safe to play offline even if the online service went down...

Trust me to buy/try and play the game today. Ah well, I can hold out a few more days.

the whole thing sounds so strange cuz there've been a number of times where i couldnt log in to the network for whatever reason, but it never effected playing any of my games offline.

The worst part is I thought it'd be down to save data corruption and got rid of my saves.

Wanted to start it again.

So what, does this mean that when Sony finally fixes this problem all of my trophies are going to be gone? WTF? :cmad:

Pretty sure if you synced them before all this hit you should be fine. Otherwise, it looks like it's up in the air

I'm glad I played this on my PS3 Slim and not my PS3 Fat...geesh. lol.

It's pretty harrowing at times. I managed to finish with all 4 characters still alive, but the knowledge that any of the characters can die is enough to make the action scenes feel genuinely stressful and engaging. I liked the story a lot, too. People complaining about the plot twists are exaggerating, I think.

It was for me. So many wonderful and gut wrenching moments.
me too. i had a hard time [BLACKOUT]deciding whether or not to kill that other father. and i almost wanted to quit the end cuz i got Madison arrested and im sure that wouldve saved Ethan's life.[/BLACKOUT]

its a great game if you can forgive the first 2 hrs or so. its starts pretty slow.

I enjoyed those first couple of hours, you get the feel of the controls and get to know the character's a bit. It's not that bad. lol.

no i didnt really mind it either, but if i were to show off this game to a friend who doesn't stray from the 'Madden and Modern Warfare crowd', and i have plenty, i dont think he gonna get too excited trying to shave the main characters five o'clock shadow. it just doesnt compare to the final hours where im literally on the edge of my seat, making sure im focused on everything happening on my screen, freaking out if i miss a command cue and worried its gonna kill my character.

I thought it was the pacing toward the end that felt a bit off, personally. Once you learn who the killer is, I feel like they could've done a bit more to make the story mesh better. I know I just said people complaining about the plot twists/holes are exaggerating, but that's not to say there aren't any plot holes whatsoever. There are still some that could've been fixed with just a bit more time and the inclusion of a few key scenes.
