Isn't that the whole point of a monogamous relationship? Ownership of each other?
That's more in tuned with what marriage was created for originally.

Uhh, that's a misconception. That's more in tuned with what marriage was created for originally.
Commitment, yes. Ownership...depends on the relationship. Some people are into that, but it's a very bad assumption unless you run in certain religious circles, and it typically is one-sided. (Meaning, a woman being owned by a man.) I would say it's a way of thinking that's going out in society in general. Women typically don't ask their male partner's permission to drive or work anymore.Isn't that the whole point of a monogamous relationship? Ownership of each other?
Even in pretty liberal circles, a man not in control 100% of the time is looked down on.Hmm...never thought about it not being accepted. Doesn't seem like female led D/s relationships are as common, but unacceptable? I always thought it was more like most people just didn't know it was a thing because it isn't as common.
But yeah, that's how me and my Queen roll.

I see these hipster-ish dudes with their waif-ish chicks, dragging them around by the arm around the city. Especially if they're the non-English speaking variety.
