Hell on Earth

No, It's kool. You weren't the only one that made me laugh. :cwink:

Well if I remember correctly It seemed a little funny when at the end of the part Frank thought
I backed against the wall as well, great, now what? lol
It usually happens the first time I read the chapters.

So hugebear, you writing another part after ETM?

LOL, thats cool. Both of them backed against the wall, one zombie outside, another in the kitchen with them, "Great, now what?"

Good old conscience kicking in. The voice of reason, at that moment had no reason lol.

:oldrazz:

Exactly, you explained it better than I did.

Part 7

INT. HOUSE -- BASEMENT

Frank and David walk across the room to the door. David opens it and they walk in, closing it behind them.

EXT. SHED -- NIGHT -- CONTINOUS

Frank and David dart towards the shed, looking for zombies in the area.

David opens the door.

INT. SHED -- CONTINOUS

It's dark inside. David walks in and flips the light switch on. Frank walks in behind him.

FRANK: Any weapons here?

DAVID: Of course. I did say we had to get medical supplies and such.

David walks to a tall cabinet and opens it.

ON CABINET

Medical supplies fill one side of the cabinet while the other side is filled with tools.

BACK TO SCENE

David grabs a first-aid kit and takes it out of the cabinet. He turns around.

DAVID: Don't leave the door open!

Frank turns and closes the door.

FRANK: Thought we were leaving?

DAVID: We are, but I rather fix your arm now, than later.

Frank walks to him.

David lays the first-aid kit on a small table and opens it. He takes out the needed supplies and gets to work.

EXT. HOUSE -- NIGHT.

The zombies walk out of the house.

INT. SHED

Frank holds a small shovel with his good arm.

David holds the first-aid kit in one hand and a axe in the other.

FRANK: Glad these tools were in here. The ones in the cabinet were just too small.

DAVID: When you open that door...be prepared to take someones head off.

Frank slowly walks to the door. He grabs the knob and turns it.

I was gonna have them fight the zombies on the way to David's car. But, I felt like this chapter ended on a little suspense note. Are the zombies by the shed? Will Frank take a zombies head off with a shovel? Can a shovel even do that? Find out...in part 8!

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!! I can't believe you got my "supplies and such" clue.

Well...it is a zombie story. I figured there be tools to be used as weapons in the shed. Also...medical supplies and such, c'mon...not that hard to figure out when I've watched a few zombie flicks. And written a zombie script as well.

Awe*some. Can't wait to see the next part.

I wonder how Hugebear will tackle this? Will there be any fighting? Will our two guys meet their fate at the zombies? Will Frank finally get those donuts and coffee he wants?

Lol. He's been wanting that since part 1.

Part 8

The door slowly cracked open. It was calm and quiet outside. Too quiet.
I peeked out the door. My mind and heart were racing strongly with fear that slowed me down completely. There was nothing there.
Here we go! I started to walk slowly out the shed, looking around and I could smell the blood and the dead bodies. They were out there somewhere. Better keep moving. The whole place looked terrifying at night and it would get darker.
I looked toward the house. It sent chills of terror up my spine. Breath, breath dammit. My head started spinning. For a minute or two, I couldn’t think too well. Must be the cut on my head of when I had the accident. We got to keep going. I kept walking one step at a time, it seemed like it took forever. Where was it? The car? Then it hit me. I turned to look back. Where is David?
All that time, since I had walked out of the shed, I hadn’t checked to see if David was behind me. My mind had been too preoccupied with getting to the car alive. Where was he?
I was now alone. I had to go back for him. As I turned to go back, I heard something in the other direction. Some one was coming toward me.

“David?” I whispered.

At first, I couldn’t tell who it was that was coming towards me. Suddenly I was grabbed from behind and I heard a moan. I turned and saw the bloodied corpse of a woman. Her dress was all torn and her face looked half eaten.
I pushed her away and saw the other one in front. It was a dead man also wearing torn and dirty clothes. He moaned louder as he lurched closer. I don’t know where they came from. It wasn’t David’s father or mother, or any of the three others, I had seen.
I stumbled as I ran back toward the shed. I kept looking back, they would be after me. My heart was pounding faster. Now we had two more to worry about and what happened to David?
I could see the shed far away. The door to the shed was wide open. I walked slowly toward the shed fearing the worse. David was dead or being eaten alive. I looked inside.

It was empty. Where could he be?

I looked toward the barn and the house. The barn was completely dark, and I heard some strange noise near the barn. I should check the house first.
Let him be alive, I headed toward the house. I saw the back door was wide open. I went inside, watching my back this time. Only one of the lights inside was on and it was from the kitchen. I went into the kitchen and saw the mess and blood. The chairs were on the floor and the table was gone. I was still starving, so I searched the kitchen for food and found a bigger piece of zwieback. This will have to do. I teared a piece and put the rest back for later. As I ate the small piece of bread, I noticed how quiet the entire house was. I could see part of the dark livingroom and I stood there thinking. Was David upstairs?

Not my choice... unless someone isn't up to writing the next part, that is.:)

As for location, you can set it anywhere you want. The reason I said in Canada was, well I tend to set my stories in area's i'm familiar with. If you want it in New York City or whatnot, go for it! Just imagine a full scale zombie plague in such a city!
By the by, what do you guys think of this?

Well, it might be to predictable for a zombie movie, but the story seems to be leading to that. The phone calls seem to suggest that there might be a full scale zombie plague.

What about having a title for the story? I was going to leave that till the end of the story, to get a better title, but I liked to hear what you guys would like?

Idk, the four of us just starting writing, I forgot about titles.

Bravo, Hugebear! I wonder where David is? Doubt he's dead...well...I am sure he left the shed alive in the very least.

Title? I'm leaving that up to you guys.

Hell on Earth :o what you think? Yes, it's a tagline to a Hellraiser movie...pretty sure.

Awesome work everybody, this is a good effort! And Hell on Earth sounds good to me.

If nobody else is, i'll take up writing the next part.

:yay:
