Help for the Starbucks n00b

Who else here is a Starbucks n00b too? I hope I'm not the only one I have a gift card I want to use, but I have no idea what to get or even how to order. I've only been once and I thought I'd try an espresso. I got a small shot in a big cup, so I thought I got ripped off I luff frappuccinos though The vanilla is my favorite, I'm not too fond of that new strawberry thing they came out with though


I need help I feel so lost and confused. Teach me the ways of the coffee house, O wise Starbucks goers. Teach this lost, ignorant, coffee hungry wretch all there is to know. Please?

Personally, I always have a Vente Mocha Frappuccino, and after ordering it I feel vaguely emasculated, so I don't go much anymore.

Vente or Venti or some crap like that: Large
Grande: Medium
Tall: Small

Yes, that's right. Tall is the smallest size.

Well...im not too fond of Starshmuks myself, but i do love the frapps. and the carmel macciato. I prefer not to go there, cause that place even smells like metrosexual when you walk in the door. What really gets me is if you say you want a "medium or large" coffee they get on your case as if you were the stupidest person alive, when they clearly know that "medium=grande" and "large=vente"...what ever happened to the simple "small, medium, and large"? Is spanish, and itailan that mainstream now? If it is then im offended cause im italian by blood, not some "bubble pop boy band asian" thinking he can pass as italian...why is being different the new "in"? I dunno...im just ranting, no offence to anyone.

Go for the Strawberry Frapp with extra whip cream (it is actually really good) Or the double chocolate frapp. Or the Carmel Macciato. Those are my top 3 choices.

I always get a vanilla frap. My sister ended up getting a banana cream drink once,I think that's what it was called, & it was pretty tasty. The gingerbread one is good but that's usually around Christmas time.

Exactly. That's one reason why I refuse to get the fancy ones. That and I don't like coffee that doesn't taste like coffee...which most of the cold drinks seem to be.

Yeah you order your drink...then wait...and wait...and wait. Then they give you your drink...then you go over to this lil table off to the side where you have your sugar, milk, cream, cinnamon, carmel, sweet-n-low (ahaha) and your good ol stirrin sticks.
