FADE IN:

INT. COLLEGE DORM-NIGHT

Loud rock music echoes throughout the dorm. Even though it is coming from another room down the hall it is heard loud and clear.
A female college student sits alone in her darkened dorm room trying to study amidst the blaring music. She is pretty, but not beautiful. Her light brown hair is pulled into a messy pony tail that hangs past her shoulders. She wears glasses and no make up. She is very plain but there is beauty there -she just hasn’t found it yet. She might be called a plain Jane or a nerd, but her name is JENNIFER WALTERS.

Wearing an oversized UCLA law shirt, Jennifer scans the text book sitting on her desk.

JENNIFER
(Reading)
These two appeals raise questions as to Pennsylvania and Rhode Island statutes providing state aid to church related elementary and secondary schools.

Jennifer frowns at the din coming from down the hall and sighs.
She opens a bottle of Aspirin and takes out the cotton balls. She stuffs them in her ears and continues reading.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. FOOTBALL FEILD-DAY

The COLLEGE DEAN stands before a large group of STUDENTS holding a plaque in his hand.

DEAN
And in recognition of graduating Suma *** Laude from our prestigious law department I award this plaque as a commemoration to Jennifer Walters.
Jennifer stands up and walks to the podium. She hears people talking in the background.

STUDENT 1
Who is she?

STUDENT 2
She was in our class.

STUDENT 1
She was?

Police Detective AL PETERS walks up to the one man who is clapping, Sheriff MORRIS WALTERS.

PETERS
Sheriff Walters? Dispatcher said you were here.

WALTERS
Here to watch my little girl graduate. What brings you by?

PETERS
We have news on Nicholas Trask.

The Dean yells.

DEAN
I give you the graduating class of 2006!

WALTERS
Excuse me, Detective.

Walters walks up to his daughter as the other students hurl their caps into the air.

Walters puts his arm around Jennifer.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
Ready to come back home, Jenny?

JENNIFER
Dad. You just got finished putting me through college, haven’t you done enough already? Do you really want to support me?

WALTERS
I missed you all these years. You didn’t have to live in the dorms you know?

JENNIFER
I know, Dad. We’ve been over this.

WALTERS
I know sweetie. Congratulations, baby.
Walters hugs Jennifer.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
I need to get back to work.

JENNIFER
Even on my graduation day.

WALTERS
Hey, crime never stops in L.A. County.

JENNIFER
I know.

WALTERS
Don’t go to too many parties, okay?

JENNIFER
Don’t worry about that. I wasn’t invited to any.

CUT TO:

INT. COLLEGE DORM-DAY

The dorm room is now empty. Jennifer struggles to lift the last and heaviest box from her room.

INT. HALL-CONTINUOUS

Jennifer struggles with the box. A book falls out and she kicks it down the hall in front of her as MUSCLE BOUND JOCKS watch, but don’t offer any help.

CUT TO:

EXT. COLLEGE CAMPUS-MOMENTS LATER

Jennifer drops the last box into the back seat of her beat up Volkswagen Beetle convertible.

She stares as her CLASSMATES yell and holler and laugh and talk about what parties they are going to go to later that night.

Sullenly, Jennifer gets into her car and drives off.

CUT TO:

INT. HOUSE-NIGHT

Jennifer pulls a T.V. Dinner out of the oven and sets it on the kitchen table. She sits down, sticks her fork in and pulls up a frozen, solid chunk of food. She drops her fork.

The door opens and Walters walks in.

WALTERS
Hey kiddo. What are you doing here?

JENNIFER
It’s only temporary until I find a job and get my own apartment.

WALTERS
It’s okay. Ever since your mom died it’s been lonely around here. It’s nice to have a girl in -sorry, a woman -in the house again.

Walters slides into a chair near the T.V. dinner.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
This for me?

Walters grabs the tray and fork.

JENNIFER
Um, Dad?

Walters rams his fork into the mashed potatoes and begins crunching loudly.

WALTERS
We’ll order out.

JENNIFER
We’d better hurry. American Idol starts in ten minutes. You know I never miss an episode. Not since mom...died.

WALTERS
September 28th.

JENNIFER
The two hour finale.

CUT TO:

INT. LIVING ROOM-NIGHT

Chinese food containers litter the living room.
Walters sits on the sofa and the television catches his eye. He turns it up.

NEWS REPORTER
Crime Boss Nicholas Trask my soon feel the squeeze of the law as several indictments were handed down this morning from the DA's office. Several of Trask’s lieutenants are facing charges of assault, theft, kidnapping and murder. Los Angeles County Sheriff Morris Walters denies any allegations that these indictments are a ploy in an attempt to get several known criminals to turn state’s evidence on Trask. More as it develops.

Walters frowns at the television as Jennifer walks in.

JENNIFER
Trying to bring down the biggest crime organization in the city and they make you out to be public enemy number one.

WALTERS
Eh. Ratings, what are you going to do? What are you doing up, shouldn’t you be in bed? You have to get up early tomorrow.

JENNIFER
Why?

WALTERS
For your first day at work at Goodman, Leiber, Kurtzburg and Holliway.
Jennifer hugs her dad.

JENNIFER
Daddy! You got me a job?

WALTERS
I was able to pull a few strings.

CUT TO:

INT. BEDROOM-NIGHT

Jennifer stands before a mirror in a vintage skirt suit that hangs off her gangly body.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. LAW OFFICES OF GOODMAN, LEIBER, KURTZBURG & HOLLIWAY-DAY

Jennifer steps off the elevator in her silly looking suit and walks to the reception desk.

DOTTIE
Good morning, how can I help you?

JENNIFER
I’m here to see Mr. Holliway.

DOTTIE
And who can I say is calling?

JENNIFER
Jennifer Walters.

DOTTIE
Oh, Sheriff Walters daughter! Right this way!

CUT TO:

INT. HOLLIWAY’S OFFICE-DAY

The office is large and airy with huge glass windows that overlook the city below.

Behind a large mahogany desk sits a a frail looking older gentlemen with a soft personality to match. But this is HOLDEN HOLLIWAY one of the most respected lawyers in all of the country.

As the door opens Dottie drags Jennifer behind her.

DOTTIE
Mr. Holliway? Miss Walters is here to see you.

HOLLIWAY
Thank you, that will be all.

Dottie leaves as Holliway walks up to Jennifer and shakes her hand.

JENNIFER
Mr. Holliway. This is quite an honor! I’ve been following your career since I was old enough to know what law was! Most people are preoccupied with all the celebrities in this town, but to me you are bigger than any movie star!

HOLLIWAY
Well the pleasure’s all mine, Miss Walters. Anyone related to Sheriff Morris Walters is okay in my book.

JENNIFER
Mr. Holliway, is the only reason I got this job because of who my father is?

Holliway smiles.

HOLLIWAY
I like you. You are going to make a fine attorney.

Holliway puts his arm around Jennifer and leads her out of the office.

HOLLIWAY (CONT’D)
Come now dear. I have much to show you.

CUT TO:

EXT. ALLEY-DAY

A police vehicle drives up to some yellow caution tape and stops. Walters gets out of his vehicle and is greeted by Detective Peters.

PETERS
Sheriff! You’re not going to believe this! All eight of our witnesses done in execution style!

WALTERS
I know. They didn’t need to parade it all over the God damn news!

PETERS
We got a suspect in custody already.

WALTERS
We what? A suspect? Who?

PETERS
One of Trask’s bodyguards, a Clarence Monkton.

WALTERS
Monkton?

Walters walks over to a body and crouches down.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
Murder weapon?

Peters holds up a pistol in a plastic bag.

PETERS
A .45. One clean shot to the head.

WALTERS
Prints?

PETERS
None.

Walters puts on a pair of latex gloves.

WALTERS
Mind if I take a look?

Peters licks his lips.

PETERS
Sheriff, there are no-

WALTERS
Al, let me do my job.

Walters opens the plastic bag and pulls out the pistol. He looks at it from multiple angles.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
Uh huh!

PETERS
You find something?

WALTERS
A partial, probably not even enough to get a match. But where there’s one clue, there are more. Get some uniforms down here and a couple of dogs and have them comb the area and when they are done with that have them comb the area again. And then after that, have them go over it a third time. No one is allowed to return to the station empty handed.

Walters puts the pistol back in the bag and stands up. I’ve got to get to the lab.

CUT TO:

INT. MALLORY’S OFFICE-DAY

A fierce, feisty red head leans over a table glaring at her client, a man named JIM. She is MALLORY BOOK, and her nickname is “The Face who Never Lost a Case.”

MALLORY
I’m not going to give up a case I know I can win!

JIM
But, Miss Book, I want to settle! I can settle for a lot less! The evidence is stacked against me.

Jim lowers his voice.

JIM (CONT’D)
You know and I know I’m guilty as hell and-

Mallory pounds her fist on the table.

MALLORY
I don’t care! This case is almost identical to Lee versus Kirby and I won that!

JIM
No! I just want to end it. Arrange a settlement. Please.

Holliway stands at the door and motions Mallory out into the hall.

MALLORY
Excuse me.

Mallory walks out into the hall.

INT. HALL-CONTINUOUS

Mallory stands with arms folded across from Holliway. Jennifer stands behind him.

MALLORY
Well?

HOLLIWAY
How are things going, Mallory?

MALLORY
Terrible. He’s asking for a settlement for a case I know I can win.

HOLLIWAY
Settle, then take lunch.

MALLORY
Holden! It’s a blemish on my record. I’m The Face who Never Lost a Case, remember? The Face who Lost Only One Case doesn’t have such a good ring to it!

Jennifer laughs, a feminine little snort.

Mallory looks at Jennifer and then quickly back at Holliway.

MALLORY (CONT’D)
Who’s this?

HOLLIWAY
This is the newest addition to the team, Jennifer Walters. Jennifer, I’d like you to meet our star player, Mallory Book.

JENNIFER
Miss Book, I’ve-

MALLORY
Yeah fascinating, kid. Holden, may I speak to you a minute?

Mallory leads Holliway a few feet away from Jennifer.

HOLLIWAY
You’re being awfully rude.

MALLORY
Sheriff’s daughter or not, I’m not here to kiss anyone’s ass! This is a law
firm Holden! Not a day care!

HOLLIWAY
I know that, which is why I brought Miss Walters aboard-

MALLORY
Fine. Look, help me convince this guy not to settle!

HOLLIWAY
I can’t do that. If the man has made up his mind then he’s made up his mind.

MALLORY
Holden, please! Now is not a time for ethics!

HOLLIWAY
Alright.

Holliway thinks for a moment.

HOLLIWAY (CONT’D)
Drop the case, and I’ll turn it over to Pug.

MALLORY
Pug? I wouldn’t trust him with my laundry let alone my case!

HOLLIWAY
Well, it won’t be your case anymore it will be his. His to loose or to settle or to do whatever it is that you don’t want to do. Besides you have bigger fish to fry.

MALLORY
I’m liking this so far.

HOLLIWAY
I just got off the phone with the DA. How would you like to prosecute Nicholas Trask?

Mallory’s face lights up.

MALLORY
The Nick Trask? Me, Mallory Book putting away Nick Trask? I’ll do it!

HOLLIWAY
Good, when they have enough to make an arrest I want you to be ready.

Holliway turns to leave.

HOLLIWAY (CONT’D)
Oh, Mallory? I want you to work with Miss Walters here.

MALLORY
What?

HOLLIWAY
If she’s going to be the best, she needs to learn from the best!

Holliway smiles and leaves.

CUT TO:

INT. MALLORY’S OFFICE-MOMENTS LATER

Jennifer looks at numerous newspaper clippings of Mallory’s cases.

JENNIFER
Very impressive.

Mallory flops into her chair.

MALLORY
Did you say something?

Jennifer opens her mouth to speak but Mallory cuts her off.

MALLORY (CONT’D)
Look, Jessica-

JENNIFER
Jennifer.

MALLORY
What?

JENNIFER
My name. It’s Jennifer.

MALLORY
Whatever. If I got you at my disposal I might as well let you earn your stripes.

Mallory digs around in her brief case.

Jennifer looks excited as if years of hard work and schooling are about to pay off.

Mallory pulls out...some money.

MALLORY (CONT’D)
Coffee. Black.

Jennifer takes the money.

MALLORY (CONT’D)
And don’t dawdle. Hurry back, my office needs cleaning.

Jennifer forces a smile and takes the money.

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET-DAY

Jennifer walks down the street. She drops her purse and when she crouches down to pick it up she is nearly trampled by the many pedestrians on the sidewalk.

Dodging incoming limbs she finally is about to grab her purse when a leg, in mid stride, kicks it down the sidewalk.

JENNIFER
Hey!

CUT TO:

INT. COFFEE SHOP-DAY

Jennifer stands in a crowd of CUSTOMERS at the counter. Everyone is much taller and more noticeable than she. The wall flower stands rigid until the CLERK begins talking to her.

CLERK
Hey there, pretty eyes.

Jennifer bats her eyelashes and giggles. Suddenly a tall BLONDE WOMAN walks past Jennifer.

BLONDE WOMAN
Hi there, sexy. Tall mocha cappuccino.

EXT. COFFEE SHOP-MOMENTS LATER

Jennifer steps into the street with her coffee. She is bumped by a passer by and the coffee spills all over he suit.

CUT TO:

INT. SHERIFF’S OFFICE-DAY

Walters leans against the wall talking to a Peters

PETERS
Well Monkton is in there claiming to be innocent.
Walters nods.

WALTERS
Lab results came back with something interesting. That partial print on the right side of the butt means our shooter is left handed.

PETERS
Why is that interesting?

Walters nods towards MONKTON.

WALTERS
Because when Monkton wrote down his lawyer’s number he did it with his right hand.

PETERS
What are you saying?

WALTERS
Monkton is being set up.

PETERS
By who?

WALTERS
Someone who is left handed.

CUT TO:

INT. TRASK’S MANSION-NIGHT

A hand writes something down. It is a left hand. And the hand belongs to the menacing crime boss NICHOLAS TRASK. He is a rough looking man that might pass for a blue collar worker if not for his expensive Italian suit.

Across from him sits Al Peters.

PETERS
He’s getting to close.

Trask shrugs.

TRASK
I’ll buy him off.

PETERS
Not this guy. He’s a crusader. Ever since his wife-

TRASK
I thought we agreed not to talk about that!

PETERS
Right. Sorry.

TRASK
Besides, there are still ways to handle Walters.

PETERS
Come on Nick, you can’t just shoot the Sheriff of Los Angeles County!

TRASK
No kidding?

Trask abandons his writing and leans forward.

TRASK (CONT’D)
Every man has some dirt. A secret they don’t want anyone to know about. That includes the good Sheriff Walters.

PETERS
Walters is clean.

Trask smiles and stands up.

TRASK
You remember a few years ago when the world found out that Bruce Banner was the Hulk?

PETERS
The Hulk?

Trask flips open a painting on the wall behind the desk. Behind the painting is a safe. Trask twists the knob, negotiating his way through the combination.

TRASK
Yeah, the Hulk. Big, mean angry, green freak of nature.

PETERS
Okay...

Trask tugs open the safe. The safe opens with a loud hiss and vapors from the liquid nitrogen drift out into the room.

TRASK
After that Banner vanished. Went into hiding. No one ever saw him again.

Trask pulls something out of the safe.

TRASK (CONT’D)
Do you know the story of how the Hulk’s identity became common knowledge?

PETERS
No.

TRASK
Banner, ever the humanitarian, gave blood at a blood drive one day. It was a match for a blood sample the Army took from the Hulk. Bruce Banner is the Hulk.

Trask slams the safe closed and returns the painting to its original position.

PETERS
What does this have to do with Walters?

TRASK
What if I told you that Bruce Banner is Morris Walters’ nephew.

PETERS
What?

Trask sits down.

TRASK
Morris Walters nephew is a fugitive from the law and this-
Trask drops a plastic sack of plasma on the desk.

TRASK (CONT’D)
-blood sample will prove it.

PETERS
The Hulk is Walters’ nephew?

TRASK
I’ll get a couple of guys to lay that across his desk. See if that gets him to play ball.

PETERS
You think this wild accusation will get Walters off your back? He all but knows you shot all of those men to protect your-

TRASK
Whoa! Wild accusations? Hey, what do I care what you think? I ain’t trying to buy you off. I already done that. It was much easier.

PETERS
What if this doesn’t work?

Trask picks up a cigar.

TRASK
I have a plan B.

CUT TO:

INT. HOUSE-NIGHT

Jennifer sits at the table with a pen and paper making notes.
Walters walks in and sits down.

WALTERS
What are you doing, Jen?

Jennifer covers up her paper.

JENNIFER
Just making some notes for work tomorrow. Organizing a to do list.

WALTERS
Oh? Let me see.

Walters takes the pad of paper from Jennifer.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
Pick up dry cleaning? Wash Mallory’s car? What is -Walk the dog! What is this?

JENNIFER
Dad I-

WALTERS
This is what they have you doing down there? That’s it, give me the phone!

JENNIFER
Dad! I’m not a little girl anymore. I know you love me and you mean well, but you don’t have to try and control everything in my life for me.

WALTERS

Jennifer, it’s just that your mom-

JENNIFER
Dad. What happened to mom is not going to happen to me. You need to step back and let me grow up.

WALTERS
I just worry.

JENNIFER
I know you worry. Remember when I got a flat tire on the freeway? You sent half the force over to help me out. All you had to do was show me how to change a tire. In high school when I forgot my biology paper, you had your guys at the crime lab write me up one. That’s not what I need. You have enough on your plate right now. You don’t need to worry about me. I’m too old for a daddy. I need my father back. The father that used to let me ride in the cruiser with him. The father who taught me to eat raw oysters. The father who let me live and told me to be strong, brave and to take chances. I need the father I had before mom died.

Jennifer reaches across the table and takes her father’s hand.

JENNIFER (CONT’D)
If this what they want me to do at work, than this is what I do. I have to make a name for myself. I need to be Jennifer Walters, not Sheriff Morris Walters’ daughter.

Jennifer stands up and kisses the top of her father’s head.

JENNIFER (CONT’D)
I need to go to bed.

As Jennifer leaves, Walters sits alone at the table. Eventually he gets up and takes a shoebox off the top of the refrigerator. Inside is a newspaper clipping. The headline reads: LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S WIFE MURDERED.

CUT TO:

INT. MALLORY’S OFFICE-DAY

Jennifer drops a huge stack of books on Mallory’s desk as Mallory talks on the phone.

Mallory hangs up.

MALLORY
Jesus Walters what are you trying to do? And where’s my bagel?

JENNIFER
Bagel, right.

Mallory goes through the books.

MALLORY
I still need the Buscema case file from the basement.

JENNIFER
Right, the basement.

CUT TO:

INT. BASEMENT-DAY
The basement is dark, lit by a few light bulbs. There are no windows.

Jennifer walks into the dark basement.

JENNIFER
Hello?

An overweight man pops up behind her. He is STU CICERO, the man in
charge of the basement archives.

STU
Hi there. You must be the new girl. Stu Cicero, what ever you need, I can find. I am your man.

JENNIFER
Hi Stu. I’m Jennifer. I’m looking for the Buscema case file.

STU
Ah, yes. Right this way.

Stu heads in the direction of a book case that stands several feet in the air, almost to the ceiling.

STU (CONT’D)
A through C is on the top shelf. Makes my life a nightmare.

Stu picks up a stack of books and hands them to Jennifer.

STU (CONT’D)
Here hold these. I need this table.

Stu drags the table to the book case.

Jennifer looks at the books in her hands. They are comic books.

JENNIFER
Stu, what are comic books doing down here.

PUG (O.C.)
Stu doesn’t archive only case files and law books.

Jennifer turns around to see the towering frame of Augustus Pugliese, the man called PUG. He has dark hair and is very handsome in his dark suit. He stares at Jennifer through his piercing blue eyes.

Pug extends his hand.

PUG (CONT’D)
Augustus Pugliese. Everyone calls me Pug.

JENNIFER
Walter Jennifers. I mean Jessica Walters. I mean Jennifer. Jennifer Walters.

Pug shakes Jennifer’s hand.

PUG
You’re sure?

JENNIFER
Yes.

Jennifer smiles.

PUG
Excuse me, Jennifer.

Pug walks towards Stu, who is up on the table.

PUG (CONT’D)
Stu, you’re going to kill yourself up there. What do you need?

STU
Third file from the left.

Pug grabs it and hands it to Jennifer.

PUG
Here you are.

JENNIFER
Thank you.

PUG
You’re the girl working with Mallory, right?

JENNIFER
Yes.

PUG
I’m sorry.

Pug thinks for a moment.

PUG (CONT’D)
How would you like to go to court?

CUT TO:

INT. COURT ROOM-DAY

Jennifer sits at a desk at the head of the court room as Pug interrogates the witness.

The Jury sits to their left, behind them many onlookers including Mallory and Holliway. In front of them the JUDGE, a WITNESS and the DEFENDING ATTORNEY.

PUG
Mr. Byrne, you stated that you were watching American Idol the night of September 28th when the defendant was spotted leaving the crime scene.

BYRNE
That is correct.

PUG
And American Idol is an hour long show, so you know for a fact that the defendant left the scene at around eight o’ clock when you looked out your window.

BYRNE
Yes.

PUG
And since the crime was committed at eight forty five there is no way he could have been there. You saw him leave at eight o’ clock, right. How did you know it was eight o’ clock.

BYRNE
American Idol was over.

PUG
Ah, that’s right. Is it not possible that the defendant, oh I don’t know, came back later.

Jennifer stares at Pug. She realizes something. She opens a lap top on her desk and begins typing something.

Holliway looks on with interest.

BYRNE
I suppose, but it’s not likely.

PUG
Maybe not, but the point is you don’t know. Unless you had a forty five minute vigil at your window sill.

The Jury laughs.

The Judge bangs her gavel.

JUDGE
Mr. Pugliese!

PUG
Sorry, Your Honor.

Jennifer waves excitedly at Pug.

JENNIFER
(Loud Whisper)
Pug!

PUG
One second, Your Honor.

Pug walks to Jennifer who turns the lap top so he can see it. It is a page from tvguide.com

JENNIFER
September 28th was the two hour finale! If he saw the defendant leaving after the show, than he saw him at nine o’ clock!

PUG
You sure?

JENNIFER
Positive.

CUT TO:

EXT. COURT HOUSE STEPS-DAY

The doors open and Pug marches proudly out with Mallory, Holliway and Jennifer.

HOLLIWAY
Hell of a job you two!

PUG
Thanks Mr. Holliway, but it was Jennifer that really saved me.

CUT TO:

INT. CAFE-DAY

Walters eats alone with a file on the table. It is Trask’s criminal record.

A man DAN SLOTT slides into the booth across from Walters.

SLOTT
Sheriff Walters?

WALTERS
Yes? Do I know you.

SLOTT
Stop looking into Mr. Trask’s affairs. You don’t want anything to go public. He might make your affairs go public.

WALTERS
Who the hell do you-

Slott drops the plasma on the table.

SLOTT
A gift from your nephew.

Slott gets up and walks away.

WALTERS
Hey!

Walters stands up and grabs Slott.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
You tell your boss that he might be able to scare other people on the force but not me! I’m not going to stop at anything! I will see Nicholas Trask behind bars! And don’t even think about intimidating me! I don’t have anything to loose anymore.

SLOTT
Don’t be to sure.

Slott walks away leaving Walters holding the blood packet.

WALTERS
Jennifer!

CUT TO:

INT. CAR-MOMENTS LATER

Slott gets into the car with Trask.

SLOTT
No dice. He didn’t go for it.

TRASK
Go to plan B.

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET-DAY

Walters runs to his vehicle and fumbles for his keys.

WALTERS
My keys!

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET-CONTINOUS

A car drives off as a hand tosses a pair of keys out onto the street.
The car rounds the corner and drives off.
Walters runs down the street screaming into his radio.

CUT TO:

EXT. COURT HOUSE STEPS-DAY

Holliway puts his arms around Jennifer and Pug.

HOLLIWAY
How about lunch? My treat?

PUG
Jennifer?

JENNIFER
That sounds good.

MALLORY
Excellent idea Mr. Holliway-

HOLLIWAY
Mallory, don’t you have some case files to go over?

A black car rounds the corner and Slott leans out.

SLOTT
Jennifer Walters?

Jennifer turns around as Slott fires at her.

Jennifer is hit and drops to the ground.

PUG
Jennifer!

CUT TO:

INT. CAR-CONTINUOUS

TRASK
Here comes her old man! Beat it!

The car speeds off squealing its tires.

Several police cars and an ambulance pull up. Walters gets out of the passenger side of one of the cars with a UNIFORMED OFFICER.

WALTERS
Jennifer!

Pug is bent over Jennifer’s body.

PUG
She’s still alive!

Walters drops the blood packet on the ground and hugs his daughter.

Two PARAMEDICS run up and begin checking her out.

WALTERS
How is she?

PARAMEDIC 1
She’s lost a lot of blood!

Paramedic 1 turns to PARAMEDIC 2.

PARAMEDIC 1 (CONT’D)
Plasma! Go!

Paramedic 2 runs to the ambulance.

PARAMEDIC 1 (CONT’D)
Hurry!

PUG
What the hell happened! What was that?

WALTERS
It was a warning!

HOLLIWAY
To Jennifer?

WALTERS
No! To me!

Paramedic 2 runs back but trips, falls, and drops the plasma on the ground.

PARAMEDIC 1
Damn it!

Paramedic 1 picks it up. But it is, however, the packet of Bruce Banner’s blood!

JENNIFER
Da..daddy?

PARAMEDIC 1
I got to get an IV in you, okay?

The Paramedic jabs a needle in Jennifer’s arm and watches the blood transfusion begin.

PARAMEDIC 1 (CONT’D)
Okay, let’s move her!

Jennifer is picked up and carried to the waiting ambulance.

Pug bends down and picks up the plasma.

FADE TO BLACK:

FADE IN:

INT. HOSPITAL-DAY
Jennifer slowly wakes up in a hospital bed.

JENNIFER
Dad?

Walters has been sitting by her bed all night. He springs to attention at the sound of his daughter’s voice.

WALTERS
Jennifer? I’m here baby, I’m here.

JENNIFER
What happened?

WALTERS
You were shot.

JENNIFER
I was shot? That’s right. That man, I saw in the car.

WALTERS
You saw him?

A NURSE walks in.

NURSE
Miss Walters. Welcome back.

WALTERS
Nurse, how is she?

NURSE
She’s just fine. Frankly the doctors have never seen anything like it.

WALTERS
What do you mean?

NURSE
Her recovery. She’ll be able to go home in the morning. Doctor wants to keep her overnight just in case.

WALTERS
Recovery? I don’t understand, she’s been-

NURSE
Mr. Walters, what I am trying to tell you is that Jennifer is almost as good as new. Like it never happened.

WALTERS
But that’s impossible.

JENNIFER
Dad! I’m going to be fine. You should get some sleep.

WALTERS
Jennifer, I-

JENNIFER
Dad!

Walters forces a smile.

WALTERS
Okay. I’ll be back fist thing in the morning, okay?

JENNIFER
Okay.

Walters leans down and kisses Jennifer on the head.

Walters turns to leave and notices flowers by the door.

Walters picks up the flowers and reads the card.

WALTERS
Pug? Who the hell is Pug?

JENNIFER
He’s a friend of mine. I’m fine, really.
Walters smiles and leaves.

NURSE
How do you feel?

JENNIFER
Great. Does that make any sense?

A DOCTOR appears in the doorway.

DOCTOR
Nurse? May I see you outside?

CUT TO:

INT. HALL-MOMENTS LATER

The Doctor is talking to the Nurse.

NURSE
Radiation poisoning? I don’t understand.

DOCTOR
Well, neither do I. But there are strong amounts of gamma radiation in her blood. If the gun shot didn’t kill her, this sure would have.

NURSE
Unless?

DOCTOR
I don’t know? She’s off the charts. White blood cell count is through the roof, her recovery has been miraculous. I even think she gained some muscle mass since yesterday.

CUT TO:

INT. TRASK’S MANSION-DAY

Trask paces around the room, yelling at Slott.

TRASK
One thing! I ask you to do one thing and you screw it up!

SLOTT
It’s not like I-

TRASK
Shut up. Don’t talk. Don’t think. Just listen! She saw you for Christ’s sake! She can ID you. And you lead to me. So, you are going to go back there and finish what you started.

SLOTT
What for? Walters is already-

TRASK
You either finish her or I finish you!

SLOTT
I’ll put in a call!

TRASK
No! You’ll go down there! Now!

CUT TO:

INT. HOSPITAL-DAY

Jennifer finishes a big plate of food.

Pug sits on the bed looking at her.

JENNIFER
I don’t know what it is. I never eat like this.

PUG
Well, you look good.

JENNIFER
Thank you.

Pug nods towards the door.

PUG
I got to get back to the office. If you need anything, just call.

JENNIFER
That’s sweet but I’ll be okay.

Pug stands up.

PUG
Oh! Before I forget. Stu wanted to give you some reading material.

Pug hands Jennifer some comic books.

JENNIFER
Case work?

PUG
Not exactly.

Jennifer scans the titles.

JENNIFER
Perfect.

PUG
Talk to you later.

Pug turns to walk out the door.

JENNIFER
Yeah.

CUT TO:

INT. HALL-CONTINUOUS

As Pug walks down the hall he passes three doctors that look more like assassins than doctors. Little does Pug know that they are ASSASSINS.
The two Assassins flank Slott. All three are in white lab coats.

CUT TO:

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM-MOMENTS LATER

Jennifer sits up as the three walk into her room.

SLOTT
Miss Walters, time to take your medicine!

JENNIFER
You’re not my doctor. Oh God, you the-

One of the Assassins places a cloth over Jennifer’s nose and mouth.
She struggles violently in the bed.

ASSASSIN 1
What gives?

Assassin 2 holds the cloth over the fighting girl.

ASSASSIN 2
I don’t know, the chloroform should have kicked in by now!

Slott pulls out a syringe.

SLOTT
Never mind that! This will take care of her!

Jennifer continues to thrash wildly. Her skin tone changes. It goes to a pale white to a sea green. Her hospital gown starts to stretch and even rip in some places. She is growing, and fast. As Jennifer grows bigger her skin tone flashes to a vibrant green. The seams of her gown tear.

Slott backs up.

Assassin 2 is unable to hold her down any more.

With one last violent spasm Jennifer arches her back and the sheer force of her muscles contracting is enough to throw Assassin 2 across the room.
Jennifer leaps from the bed. But she is not Jennifer any more. Her body has filled out with muscles and curves. Her hips, chest, and rear have all been accentuated with feminine beauty, but other parts of her body are endowed with a huge musculature that ripples beneath her bright green skin. Her once cow brown eyes glow green, and what was once plain brown hair is now a flowing mane of moss green.

Her personality has changed as well. She is no longer weak, timid, and afraid. She stands almost seven feet tall and weighs over three hundred pounds. For the time being, it seems that the Assassins have succeeded in their goal, for right now, Jennifer Walters is no more (at least for now).

Before the Assassins stands the Savage and Sensational SHE-HULK!

SLOTT (CONT’D)
Let’s get out of here!

The two Assassins and Slott run out of the room as She Hulk throws the bed at them.

SHE HULK
Get back here! So sick and tired of being ignored and stepped on by everyone!

She Hulk chases after her attackers.

INT. HALL-CONTINUOUS

The two Assassins run to the elevator as Slott shoots at She Hulk. The bullets bounce right off her thick, tough, green hide.
With long strides She Hulk charges down the hall as her three attackers spill into the elevator.

INT. ELEVATOR-CONTINUOUS

The three goons catch their breath in the elevator, listening to the soft muzack.

SLOTT

What the hell was that?

Suddenly the elevator lurches and stops.

CUT TO:

INT. HALL-CONTINUOUS

She Hulk has ripped open the doors and is now pulling the elevator up by the cables.

As the elevator comes up She Hulk punches through the doors and pulls out Assassin 2 and throws him against the wall.

ASSASSIN 1
Jesus, shoot her or something!

On cue She Hulk grabs Slott’s gun and crushes it in her bare hands.

SHE HULK
You want to kill me? Well try!

Assassin 1 drops to his knees cowering.

ASSASSIN 1
No! Please don’t kill me!

She Hulk kicks him aside. That of course means he goes flying down the hall.

She Hulk looks at Slott in the elevator, smiles, and let’s go of the cable sending the elevator crashing down to the bottom floor. She jumps down after it.

CUT TO:

INT. GROUND FLOOR-CONTINUOUS

Slott hobbles out of the mangled elevator and out the front door with She Hulk right behind him.

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET-CONTINOUS

Slott runs down the street as She Hulk picks up a bus stop bench and hurls it at him. It lands on him and he falls to the ground. This catches the attention of two POLICEMEN.

POLICEMAN 1
Hey!

She Hulk picks up Slott

SLOTT

Don’t kill me! It was Trask! He wanted you dead as a message to your father!

SHE HULK
Trask! What’s to stop me from popping you like a zit?

Slott nods towards the Policemen.

SLOTT
Them.

The Policemen run up.

POLICEMAN 2
Jesus, what the hell is she?

POLICEMAN 1
Some kind of She Hulk!

The Policemen draw there guns.

POLICEMAN 2
Hold it right there!

She Hulk looks at the once tough and now terrified Slott in her hands.

SLOTT
Please! Take me into custody! I tired to kill her. I’m a killer! Take me away.

The Policemen look at each other.

POLICEMAN 2
Is this true...um...ma’am?

SHE HULK
They tried to kill Jennifer Walters.

She Hulk drops the panting Slott to the ground and, like her cousin leaps high into the air, vanishing from sight.

CUT TO:

INT. HOSPITAL ROOM-MOMENTS LATER

The Policemen burst into Jennifer’s room. The bed has been put back.
They drag the three assailants with them.

Plain old Jennifer lies in bed.

POLICEMAN 1
Miss Walters, did these three men attack you?

Jennifer manages a shy nod.

POLICEMAN 1 (CONT’D)
Take them away!

When everyone leaves the room Jennifer lets out a sigh of relief. And then the bed collapses.

CUT TO:

INT. HOLLIWAY’S OFFICE-DAY

Holliway stands at the head of the table watching a large monitor on his office wall. On the monitor plays news footage of She Hulk “saving Jennifer Walters.”

Around the table sits Mallory, Pug, and Stu.

HOLLIWAY
Footage only shows the damages done to public property. The hospital has threatened to sue. Now, as you all know, we hear at Goodman, Leiber, Kurtzburg and Holliway pride ourselves on being on the cutting edge of law. If anyone decides to sue this “She Hulk” I want our firm to represent her.

MALLORY
Oh, please! Holden, have you lost your mind?

HOLLIWAY
She saved Jennifer. That makes her an ally.

The door to Holliway’s office opens and Jennifer walks in.

JENNIFER
Hi. Sorry I’m late.

HOLLIWAY
Jennifer? What are you doing here?

JENNIFER
I didn’t loose my job, did I?

HOLLIWAY
Shouldn’t you be at home? Resting?

JENNIFER
I’m fine Mr. Holliway, I promise.

Jennifer takes he seat next to Pug.

PUG
We were just discussing our possible representation of this She Hulk.

JENNIFER
Representation?

HOLLIWAY
Yes, apparently the hospital might sue.

JENNIFER
Sue? All I did was...I mean all she did was-

Holliway holds up his hand.

HOLLIWAY
Which is why we are going to represent her. And I want Pug to take this one.

PUG
Me? Sir, do you think I am ready to handle this?

HOLLIWAY
You can’t learn to swim if you don’t get your feet wet.

PUG
Yes, Mr. Holliway.

JENNIFER
I’m sorry, but shouldn’t we be handling the prosecution of Trask? That Slott’s testimony should lead to Trask’s arrest!

MALLORY
We? Honey, that’s my job. You stick to working the copy machine.

Jennifer feels herself getting angry.

She begins to sweat and her skin tone changes.

STU
Hey, Jennifer? You alright? You’re looking kind of green.

PUG
If I represent She Hulk I want Jennifer second chair.

HOLLIWAY
I agree.

STU
Wow, this is just like Metro City versus Amazing Man!

Everyone stares at Stu.

STU (CONT’D)
It’s a comic book. A super hero was actually sued when he saved the life of a civilian.

MALLORY
Stu-

PUG
And I want Stu!

STU
Me?

HOLLIWAY
Stu has no legal experience.

MALLORY
He’s just a glorified librarian!

PUG
You want me to swim, Mr. Holliway? Give me what I need to stay afloat.

Holliway nods.

CUT TO:

INT. TRASK’S MANSION-NIGHT

Al Peters shifts nervously on the leather sofa as Trask paces around the room.

TRASK
His testimony will destroy me!

PETERS
I know that Nick, I’m working on that.

TRASK
Great! While you are working on it, I’m having a cell all made up for me at San Quentin!

PETERS
He’s in custody! You can’t get to him!

TRASK
No. But you can.

CUT TO:

INT. PUG’S OFFICE-NIGHT

Pug sits in his chair with his feet on the desk reading Amazing Man comics.
Jennifer reads through Trask’s criminal record as Stu drops a long box of comics on Pug’s desk.

PUG
I never thought my law career would come to this. Reading comic books.

STU
Jesus!

Stu carefully takes the comic and lays it on the desk.
STU (CONT’D)

That’s issue number one! The origin story.

PUG
Yeah, so?

STU
So? Holding it like that, you’re bending the spine. The oils on your fingers were depreciating the value, show some respect!

JENNIFER
I thought comics were to read?

STU
Well they are, but...

Stu pulls a pair of latex gloves out of his pocket.

STU (CONT’D)
From now on, wear these and keep the books flat on the desk.

JENNIFER
Something doesn’t make sense.

STU
Well see the suit is really the source of all his powers-

JENNIFER
No with Trask.

PUG
That’s Mallory’s case. Let her handle it.

JENNIFER
Yeah, but-

PUG
You want Trask in jail? Let Mallory do her job. Sheriff’s daughter and all. She’ll give him the chair.

JENNIFER
No offense, but I don’t think Mallory likes me very much.

STU
Mallory doesn’t like anyone very much.

PUG
Okay, they are moving the prisoner tomorrow morning, so we need to get their early in order to talk to him.

JENNIFER
Right.

PUG
Are you sure you’re up for it, Jennifer?

JENNIFER
Hey, I got to learn to swim right?

Pug smiles.

CUT TO:

EXT. SHERIFF’S OFFICE-DAY

A police transport vehicle pulls up to the back door.

An eerie looking DRIVER gets out.

CUT TO:

INT. SHERIFF’S OFFICE-DAY

Pug and Jennifer walk down the hall to Slott’s cell. They pass Mallory on the way.

PUG
Mallory? What are you doing here?

MALLORY
Trying to nail Trask’s ass to the wall. And you two? Chasing the Jolly Green Giant?

JENNIFER
How can you be digging around the Trask case? There isn’t even enough to make an arrest yet.

MALLORY
This is my only chance to talk to him. When they move him, Trask will surely have him killed.

JENNIFER
What?

PUG
Who told you that?

MALLORY
He did.

CUT TO:

INT. SHERIFF’S OFFICE-CONTINUOUS

Peters walks up to a DEPUTY.

PETERS
Take it easy, Deputy. I’ll be riding shotgun on this one.
Peters ***** the shotgun he is carrying.

PETERS (CONT’D)
In more ways than one.

CUT TO:

INT. SLOTT’S CELL-DAY

SLOTT
So what? I’m as good as dead the second I get out of here!

JENNIFER
No! You’re the only one who can put away Trask.

SLOTT
I thought you were here about you?

JENNIFER
Me?

PUG
Her?

SLOTT
Yeah, she’s the green chick!

JENNIFER
I think you have me confused-

Peters stands in the doorway.

PETERS
It’s time. We have to move him now.

Peters drags Slott past Jennifer. Slott whispers to her.

SLOTT
If you want me to put away Trask, you’ll help me.

PETERS
Come on!

CUT TO:

INT. TRUCK-DAY

Peters shackles Slott in the back of the truck.

PETERS
Those too tight, sweetheart?

CUT TO:

INT. SHERIFF’S OFFICE-MOMENTS LATER

Jennifer looks out the window at the truck as Pug walks up behind her.

PUG
Ready to get back to the office?

JENNIFER
Um you go ahead. I’ll catch up. I want to talk to my father.

PUG
You sure?

JENNIFER
Yeah.

PUG
Okay.

As Pug leaves Jennifer slips out the back door and into the alley behind the Sheriff’s Station.

Standing in the alley Jennifer begins breathing hard and clenching her teeth and fists and...nothing happens.

JENNIFER
Damn it! Change!

Jennifer yells and growls like an idiot and still, nothing happens.
She sees the truck pull away.

JENNIFER (CONT’D)
No!

Jennifer runs after the truck and as she does she slips and falls in a puddle!

JENNIFER (CONT’D)
Why! God damn it!

As Jennifer grows angrier the change begins to take place.

CUT TO:

INT. TRUCK-DAY

Peters and the Drive nod and smile at each other as they head for a road to take them out of town.

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET-CONTINOUS

She Hulk runs down the street past cars. People lean out of the windows staring in awe.

She Hulk vaults high into the air and lands in front of the truck.

DRIVER
What the hell is that?
PETERS
Who cares, run her down!

The Driver slams on the accelerator.

Seeing that they are not going to stop Jennifer tries to leap out of the way and lands in front of an incoming car. The car hits her and simply crumples around her.

She is fine. She didn’t even move backwards. She looks at the driver.

SHE HULK
Are you okay?

The driver nods as She Hulk leaps for the truck again.

This time she lets the truck hit her and the same thing happens.

The truck is mangled and Jennifer is fine.

PETERS
This is not good!

Peters pulls out his shotgun as She Hulk rips the passenger door off it’s hinges.

SHE HULK
You?

Peters plants the barrel of the shot gun in She Hulk’s chest and pulls the trigger. The gun explodes and pellets pierce Peter’s body.

PETERS
Ah! ****!

DRIVER
Screw this! I’m outta here!

The Driver jumps out of the truck and runs into the street waving a gun.

Peters falls out of the truck, bleeding.

She Hulk chases after the Driver as he steals a car from a MOTHER.

The Mother lies panting in the street.

MOTHER
Help! My baby! My baby!

She Hulk runs to the Mother.

MOTHER (CONT’D)
Please! My baby is in the car with that man!

SHE HULK
I’ll take care of it!

She Hulk runs down the street after the car.

CUT TO:

INT. CAR-MOMENTS LATER
The Driver turns around and notices a baby in the car seat behind him.

DRIVER
Wonderful!

He slams on the accelerator but it takes him a few seconds to realize he isn’t even moving.

In the rear view mirror he sees She Hulk.

EXT. CAR-CONTINUOUS

She Hulk holds he car, keeping it from moving.

CUT TO:

INT. CAR-CONTINUOUS

The Driver turns around and grabs the now screaming baby.

DRIVER
Come here kid!

He picks up the baby and tosses her out the window.

DRIVER (CONT’D)
Fetch!

CUT TO:

EXT. CAR-CONTINUOUS

She Hulk lets go of the car as it speeds off and lunges in the direction of the screaming child as it flies threw the air.

Leaping high into the air, She Hulk grabs the baby with one arm, and swings from a flag pole with the other.

SHE HULK
Got’cha!

She Hulk flies threw the air and lands with a thunderous thud on top of the get away car, flattening the entire rear portion.

The baby’s Mother runs up through a crowd of onlookers.

MOTHER
My baby! Thank God!

She Hulk hands the baby to the Mother.

SHE HULK
Here you go.

A WOMAN runs up, chattering excitedly.

WOMAN
Did you see that? Did you see what she did?

She Hulk rips off the door and pulls out the Driver.

WOMAN (CONT’D)
I got to get on her aerobic program.

She Hulk rips a street sign out of the ground and twists it around the Driver, restraining him.

MAN
It’s gonna blow!

She Hulk turns and looks down the street. The over turned truck is leaking gasoline and a fire has started.

SHE HULK
I am so not cut out for this hero stuff.

She Hulk runs down the street, leaving pot holes as she does towards the burning truck.

A Man stands shouting on the corner.
MAN

It’s gonna explode!

She Hulk rips off the back door and pulls the Slott out.

SHE HULK
I need you to call the police and fire department. I’ll take care of this!

MAN
How?

She Hulk shoves the Slott into the Man’s arms.

SHE HULK
Good question!

She Hulk looks to the west and sees the ocean.

Hardly straining her green muscles, She Hulk picks up the burning truck and runs towards the water.

EXT. DOCKS -CONTINUOUS

She Hulk runs down towards the water and leaps in with the truck and disappears beneath the water.

CUT TO:

INT. OCEAN-DAY

She Hulk kicks downwards with her massive legs, pushing the truck deeper into the water.

CUT TO:
EXT. DOCKS -CONTINUOUS

A crowd forms at the edge of the water.

A huge underwater explosion causes a geyser of water to shoot up into the air.

WOMAN
Oh my God! Is she alright?

As the water settles She Hulk floats to the surface. She turns and faces the crowd of applauding people.

She swims to a ladder, pulls on the first rung, and the ladder comes off in her hand.

CUT TO:

INT. HOUSE-DAY

Jennifer is sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal.
Several newspapers are slammed down in front of her. As Walters reads off the headlines.

WALTERS
She Hulk Saves Baby! Almost Sacrifices Self in Truck Explosion! She Hulk Rescues Cat in Tree: City Will Bill for Damages to the Tree! She Hulk Parties With Celebrities at Swank Hollywood Nightclub?

JENNIFER
Yeah, so?

WALTERS
So? You don’t think I know that’s you?

Jennifer drops her spoon.

JENNIFER
Oh. You know all about it?

WALTERS
Yeah, I do.

JENNIFER
You know how it happened?

CUT TO:

INT. BASEMENT-DAY

Walters is pulling out newspaper clippings.

WALTERS
I tried to keep the truth from you-

JENNIFER
There’s a surprise.

WALTERS
Damn it, Jennifer! Ever since you turned into that thing you’re attitude has changed! Look, your cousin Bruce-

JENNIFER
That thing? My attitude has changed?

WALTERS
Jennifer-

JENNIFER
Why? Because for the first time in my life I’m somebody? For the first time in my life I’m not afraid any more! I’m not a victim anymore, I am the victor! Why can’t you be happy for me!

WALTERS
Jennifer-

JENNIFER
Stop! She Hulk is part of me! That thing is still me!

WALTERS
No it’s not!

Jennifer releases an ear shattering yell as she begins the transformation into She Hulk.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
Holy ****!

Jennifer runs up the stairs from the basement as Walters chases after her.

WALTERS (CONT’D)
Jennifer!
Walters hears a loud crash as he reaches the kitchen.

INT. KITCHEN-CONTIUOUS
The door has been ripped of its hinges and the frame has been bent. She Hulk is gone.

CUT TO:

INT. PUG’S OFFICE-DAY

Pug sits at his desk making notes. The door opens and the Dottie pokes her head in.

DOTTIE
Mr. Pugliese? You have a visitor.

PUG
Who is it?

CUT TO:

INT. PUG’S OFFICE-MOMENTS LATER

She Hulk sits across from Pug’s desk.

PUG
It’s really a pleasure to meet you Miss?

SHE HULK
Hulk...I guess.

PUG
Any relation to the Hulk?

SHE HULK
I think so.

PUG
I suppose you are here to talk about your case?

SHE HULK
Actually I am here on a social visit.

CUT TO:

EXT. CAFE-DAY

She Hulk and Pug sit at a table on the sidewalk sipping coffee.

She Hulk is signing an autograph for a LITTLE GIRL.

LITTLE GIRL
Thank you She Hulk!

SHE HULK
Sure.

She Hulk turns back to Pug.

SHE HULK (CONT’D)
Look, Pug-

PUG
How did you know that?

SHE HULK
Huh?

PUG
That everyone calls me Pug.

SHE HULK
Jennifer Walters told me.

PUG
How is Jennifer?

SHE HULK
She’s fine, but-

PUG
I think you’re really great and all, but the truth is I’m kind of interested in someone else.

Two TEENAGERS walk past.

TEENAGER 1
Whoa! Talk about inter racial dating.

SHE HULK
Someone else?

PUG
Don’t take it personally. I think you are a wonderful person and God knows you have an amazing figure it’s just that-

SHE HULK
It’s okay. I should be going anyway.

She Hulk gets up to leave.

CUT TO:

INT. HOLLIWAY’S OFFICE-DAY

Holliway sits at his desk looking up at Pug.

HOLLIWAY
She came to see you and it wasn’t about legal matters?

PUG
Not exactly, no. I don’t think I can handle this case even if-

HOLLIWAY
Why not?

PUG
Conflict of interest. She kind of has a thing for me. I was thinking we could give this to Jennifer.

HOLLIWAY
Jennifer? Representing She Hulk?

Holliway nods.

HOLLIWAY (CONT’D)
Okay, when she gets here send her to my office.

CUT TO:

INT. TRASK’S MANSION-NIGHT

Peters is bandaged up as Trask puffs on a cigar from behind his desk.

TRASK
Apparently this She Hulk thing has made her mind up to be a terrible thorn in my side!

PETERS
You created her.

TRASK
I what?

PETERS
Banner’s blood. That’s the only way she could have been-

TRASK
Jesus! It’s Walters’ daughter!

PETERS
She recognized me. It’s only a matter of time before...Jesus you need to get me out of the country!

TRASK
Why? Why should I do anything for you! You’ve screwed up. You let Slott get away! You make him vanish, and I’ll send you on a one way trip to anywhere you want to go.

PETERS
What about She Hulk?
TRASK
Well, if I created her as you say, than I will destroy her too.

PETERS
How do you plan to do that?

TRASK
By killing Miss Walters of course.

CUT TO:

EXT. LAW OFFICES OF GOODMAN, LIEBER, KURTZBURG & HOLLIWAY-NIGHT

Pug walks down the front steps and sees Jennifer.

PUG
Jennifer? Where have you been all day.

JENNIFER
Pug, I can’t work on the She Hulk case?

PUG
Why not?

JENNIFER
I just can’t.

PUG
Tell me.

JENNIFER
It’s better if I show you.

Jennifer’s metamorphosis takes place until She Hulk is standing in front of Pug.

PUG
No wonder I thought you were beautiful.

JENNIFER
You said you were interested in someone else.

PUG
Yeah-
Holliway walks out of the front door.

HOLLIWAY
She Hulk!

Pug turns around.

PUG
Mr. Holliway

Holliway extends his hand.

HOLLIWAY
Holden Holliway, senior partner here at Goodman, Leiber, Kurtzburg and Holliway.

SHE HULK
I know who you are, boss.

HOLLIWAY
What?

I read part one and two. Both were good. Liked the dialouge and the characters. Have you ever thought of being a screenwriter?

FYI, use O.S (off screen), not O.C (off camera) Means the same thing, but I think OS is more common. (Movie Magic Screenwriter has OS, not OC)

Characters named "Byrne" and "Slott"? Saaaayyyyy, those sound awful familiar.

Yeah I'ma lso thinking Bobillo for a name too. Also I made reference to Lee, Kirby and Buscema.

Yeah I like it. It reads well and it is gripping enough to keep me interested all the way through.

For those of you have been reading this, I am sorry that I haven't added to it, but I'm not happy with the direction it is going in, so I'm starting over. The first 40 or so pages will be roughly the same, but after that it will unfold rather differently. I appologize.

but big question remains unaddressed, who would play she-hulk?

I would want Amy Acker as Jennifer Walters and a CGI She Hulk with face of Acker on the body similar tot he technology being used in Little Man.

Mr. Walters said:
For those of you have been reading this, I am sorry that I haven't added to it, but I'm not happy with the direction it is going in, so I'm starting over. The first 40 or so pages will be roughly the same, but after that it will unfold rather differently. I appologize.

As long as it's still good or doesn't suck, it's okay.
