I recently bought a new leather jacket and want to paint something on the back..maybe Batman or Joker. Does anyone on the hype have any experience painting on leather or leather jackets? Tips, hints and how to's are appreciated.

I don't but my brother-in-law did. If I recall correctly he used acrylic paints, and he's had the jacket for 10+ years and only had to touch the paint up twice I think.

Here's a tip...if you have a leather jacket with Batman painted on it there is a good chance you will never get laid.

Except for the part where I have many times and even have a kid now. And judging from my avatar, which is my headshot, I'm clearly not your typical fanboy nerd.

I'm a geek. We bath often and get laid :woot:

Thanks a lot man.
I knew about the acrylic paint just wasn't sure if I would need a sealer or anything (for added protection).

Who honestly has an actual picture of them self as their avvy, I mean honestly...

Ding DING DING WHAT DO WE HAVE FOR HIM JOHNNY ?!

Acrylic paint (do not use heavy fabric paints), heat set it with a hair dryer when your done, then clear cote with a flexible acrylic medium. Make sure you never used any type of wet seal on the leather, it will cause it to de-laminate.
