Hey,

I need some help with the game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. From the start of the game through Taris the game worked fine. I'm currently on Dantooine and thats where some issues started. Lines go up and down the screen, parts of the environment disappear and reappear, camera and character movements are/can be slow/choppy. And occasionally a message pops up saying the game has suddenly stopped working/running the program needs to close.

I'm running the game on a dell notebook with vista...and I purchased the game through direct2drive...

...What can I do to fix the problems?

any help is appreciated

Solution: You have an ati card. Buy nvidia from now on. Just kidding, nvidia's starting to have this problem as well. Go into your swkotor.ini file and open it as a text file. The file is located by default in C:\program files\lucasarts\swkotor. Add the line Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 somewhere under the [graphics options] section.

Thanks, I'll look into it. :yay:
