help with MS word

Well, this has been happening for a while now but whenever i open it, there is always some directions i had pasted on there a LONG time ago. how the heck do i get rid of them from appearing?

you probably accidentally saved the directions as the new document template somehow. Erase them and save the template clean.

I have no idea to be honest. I am merely making my best guess based on what you've complained about.

Close Word. Find your normal.dot template file on your hard drive and then rename it normal.old or something along those lines. Restart Word. Your problem should be fixed.
