Heroic Age

He won't though. He'll have them decked out in some place stupid, most likely. The only time he had a really cool hideout for them was when they were shacked up in the Sanctum Sanctorum.
They're gonna rent a trendy Manhattan penthouse or something, I bet. It'll be boring and awful. :csad:

Only slightly. If you'll recall, Avengers Tower isn't even the whole tower, it's the top like 2 or 3 floors plus (unintentionally) the Sentry's big ugly Watchtower. Out here in non-superhero land, we call the top couple floors of a high-rise a penthouse. :oldrazz:

I sorta enjoyed Stark Tower. You know, when Stark was basically financing the team, and it made sense because most of them were flat broke, and had no support. =l It basically functioned like the last home Stark gave them.

Meh. I want them to have a slick HQ with a support staff and s***. Get them back to being a respectable institution instead of a bunch of losers operating out of Stark's summer condo or Dr. Strange's basement.

But they were originally operating out of Stark's summer mansion, with a full support staff. T.T

Chances are, they had a lot of similar things in the tower. But it was sorta....dumb, how the Watchtower was somehow magically always there. I imagine it would've been sorta hard to build a building where there was already a building.

I did wonder how all of those people were living in the same area and not going bat **** insane. I mean even Aunt May and Mary Jane was living there.

Eh, it seems like Stark probably had more rooms available to them. And they probably went out frequently.

I'd have honestly been more worried about Stark hitting on my wife if I were Peter (Well, him and Wolverine) more than anything else.

You know where they'd have no shortage of space? Infinite Avengers Mansion! :awesome:

heh reminds me of a Marvel Adventures I think it was of Pete showing Odin around the place, and you see Thor and Storm behind a door in one of the apartments.

Easily one of the scenes that just totally made MA better than NA in my mind is where Jarvis was just in horrified awe of the place, when Pym reassured him the rooms were self cleaning, where Jarvis breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

You can just stop now. You are gonna be a heartbroken man come May. Bendis Avengers won't be living in no house invented by a ''wifebeating Skrull impersonator."

That's who I'm worried about at the moment. If their new hideout doesn't get Jarvis, I'll be pissed.

The best part is, you know Bendis is going to reverse years of character development for Pym, and have him hit Jocasta in a fit of rage. =l

Pfft, the hideouts ALWAYS need Jarvis. Even in NA, they pined for the old days of Jarvis.

Dude is basically a full fledged Avenger.

Jarvis needs a new love interest. Little horndog scooped up Aunt May for a while, let's see him woo a new love interest.

I'm pretty sure you should abandon all hope about a good MA book in Heroic Age.

It'd be an f'ing miracle if it were even remotely enjoyable. Because it'll have everything from someone being an unrepentant person who thinks killing is A-Ok, to essays of dialogue made up of, "Really?" "Really." "Really, really?" "Really, really, really." "No fooling?" "Why would I?" "True. But seriously?" "Dead serious."

Well, Slott's been talking about how Pym's going to be a big presence in The Heroic Age, which makes me think that Slott may get to keep him for it. So, not on the "big" team, which kind of sucks because he's a founder and deserves it, but pretty great because Bendis keeps his grubby, Pym-hating mitts off him.

What I'd like to see, is, hold for it... West Coast Avengers run by Pym, or some form of just International Avengers like he HAS been doing.

Honestly, Pym is kicking so much rearside right now, it would be criminal to let someone like Bendis who just SUCKS with smart, powerful characters like him.
