Question: I have to ask: If you could have a power like one of the Heroes, what would yours be?— Beth Roddick

Ausiello: I'd want to read minds like Greg Grunberg does, that way I'd know if Masi Oka was pulling my leg when he told me last week that we "will see Hiro fighting a T-Rex" — hence the painting in the fall finale. "Don't forget," he added, "I [have a part-time job at] Industrial Light and Magic. You never know when I'll whip out a CGI dinosaur." Come tomorrow, Masi may be whipping out a Golden Globe nomination. (Talk about an awesome segue.) Does the possibility of a nod give him goose bumps? "To be honest, it does a little bit. You never know what's going to happen. We're just so happy the show is on the air. If we can get some accolades, I think that would be a great boost for NBC and the show."

he's not fighting a T-Rex

although it would be one of the coolest things ever

he didnt say hiro whould be fighting it.. he only hinted to it..
he WANTS people to think he is fighting a T-Rex.. its calld a cliffhanger...

"he told me last week that we "will see Hiro fighting a T-Rex"

how is that not saying it ???

I think there may be a bit more to this than he is letting out. Although I'm certian there will be Hiro with a sword and a T-rex. Perhaps in a museum?

Edit: Now that I think about it wasn't there a line that he said where he mentions being stuck in the past with the dinosaurs or something to that extent? Maybe it happens?

Uh, did you read the quote above?
A live T-Rex, or one in a museum? Come on. these guys aren't giving away the full picture here.

Wasnt it expressed before that the dinosaur was appart of a museum exhibit?

I personally hate the idea. It's a step too far.

Plus, the dinosaur will no doubt look a bit crap.

You have no idea what the concept and context are at all. People are jumping to conclusions based on a little tease just to generate and maintain interest. You people have a very literal and constrictive interpretation of things.

I like what was said above, Mysterio.

It's almost universally applicable, too.

So far hasn't all/most of Issacs paintings come true?

I see no signs of a museum in this painting. Looks like fire and smoke in the background.
Guess we'll have to see how it all plays out.

doesnt masi work for george lucas...im sure he could pull a few strings..so that the director (nbc) or whoever) wouldnt have to pay out his a$$ with money to make it happen..( but me personally i think its gunna go down in a museum maybe sylar moves the t-rex with one of his "abilities" or some other crazy scene

I love this idea. Season one was/is a very long and drawn out intro story. The action has not had a chance to set in. It's about time this show got the adrenaline pumping. I love this show for everything it is, I just wish at times that is was more intense.

Not saying this has anything to do with the T-Rex....but who knows

Milo Ventimiglia on Heroes

"I’d have to say, if you were blow away by what you saw in the first half of the season, you’re really going to be blown away by the second half," he said. "When there’s that fairy dust sprinkled on things and that excitement ‘are they really going to do this? Oh, my God, they just did it.' It’s going to be kind of hold your breath television."

As the empath who absorbs other heroes' powers, Ventimiglia has been one of the few cast members to costar with most of his ensemble. There are only a few left with whom he's hoping to share scenes.

"Leonard Roberts, Ali Larter. I think I’ve worked with everybody else. That was the nice thing about my character. I got to bounce around. But I haven’t worked with Ali or Leonard or Noah yet."

I don't buy into the museum thing. When you look at past episodes where the painters paintings future predictions come true...it's always like it is in the painting.
The painting of an explosion taking out the city happens in the future as Hiro saw it.
Peter explodes (of course the future CAN be changed)
Cheerleader being chased by Sylar.

None of those had "alternate" interpretation.

I cant wait till January 22.

1. "HEREOS"
2. "24"
3. "Supernatural"
4. "Prison Break"
5. "Survivor"

That's my top 5 shows.

what about the dinosaur painting makes you think it isn't in a museum? there is nothing in the painting to suggest life or motion.

It goes back to the theory that if it was a dead T-Rex...just a display at a museum...then it would have been painted as bones. Not with skin on. It just seems to me that his paintings are all very literal. If you see a guy chasing a cheerleader or see a guy dead from a fall...then that's what happens.

NBC own Universal Studios, Jurassic Park is from Universal and it's also a ride on the theme parks. :o

^^^^All T-rex at museums aren't just bones. Many museums actually have life like replicas.

I can see where some people get the museum idea from.

I do agree with you on his paintings not having "alternate" interpertations.
Hiro has to be holding that sword up towards the T-rex for a reason right?

I can see it going either way as museum display or a fight.

hehe oops. Oh ok...that shows you how often I go to a museum. =P

I'm still betting on CGI though.

his paintings are literal. and plenty of museums and even theme parks have fleshed out dinosaur models that aren't just "bones".

What exactly would be important enough about Hiro being scared by a museum display to warrant Isaac painting it? So far he has painted meaningful events, not passing trivial occurrences.

It's possible, but I'm just guessing there's a little more to it.
