Hiro to fight the T-Rex(really)

1) The T-Rex obviously didn't start the fire, which is far more important than the Dinosaur I assure you.

2) Isaac doesn't paint symbolism... Peter dreams Symbolism but Isaacs paintines are concrete and certain. Isaac controls fate... deal.

3) Hiro would blow his brain out jumping millions of years...

4) There a few ways in which a museum dinosaur could end up attacking Hiro, and I think those might bear exploration.

greg grunberg or whatever his name is said something along the lines of hiro fighting a dinosaur. it was in an article here on shh or comingsoon.

Isaac is not a god.:o

nowhere in the article does it say that Hiro WILL fight the dinosaur.....

Ausiello: I'd want to read minds like Greg Grunberg does, that way I'd know if Masi Oka was pulling my leg when he told me last week that we "will see Hiro fighting a T-Rex" — hence the painting in the fall finale.

That's not saying it?

Neither is Hiro, that doesn't mean he isn't rediculously powerful.

Also, lets face it, there's no proof that Isaac's paintings don't determine the future (as opposed to just recording the future as we all assumed at first). It's a whole deep predestination discussion there, honestly.

Regardless, I think it's a safe bet to say it's not symbolism.

The dinosaur nerd in me requires that I point out that the dino in the painting isn't technically a T-rex. Tyrannosaurus has 2 claws on each hand, a much longer snout, and doesn't have those little horns on the head. The dinosaur facing off with Hiro looks more like a Carnotaurus.

Thus concludes my paleontological geekiness.

You're treading on a whole new territory when you interpret his powers that way.

I see two possibilites.

1. At cliffhanger at the end of the first season Hiro is "lost in time". That's how he will be badass future hiro in season 2 - more time passed for him, learning swordfighting in feudal japan, chillin out with Dinos, checking out the future, trying to get back to the present. The season may end with him, looking around in a jungle, "where I am" hearing a sound, turning around, T-rex scream, to be continued. Then start season 2 with a very small amount of CGI dino.

It would be funny though, if he accidentaly pulled the dino to our time, creating a classic heroes/monster fight.

His powers are simple. He paints a sceen from the future. It could be changed, it might not be changed it depends on what you do to stop it. He paints and actual picture of the future, so its kinda like a vision, but still.

Excuse me but you talking about a guy that can go forward or back in time, so Hiro could possible jump back millions of years

yeah but its really cheap to go that far back in time. It makes sense of course cause he doesn't have control of his power but to fight a dinosaur? That's kinda cheesy. A picture had him fighting that rock thingy (Uluru?) Do you really think that's going to happen to?

The dinosaur in the painting has large arms though, which Carnotaurus doesn't have.

But I agree, the dinosaur doesn't look very T-Rex to me either.

the hallway bully in me requires that i ask, "who cares? nerd!" now give me your lunch money.

wouldn't it be funny if they made hiro responsible for the extinction of all dinosaurs?

Carnotaurus...T-Rex...
Indeed who cares..

His powers are simple: He paints the future and then it happens. It never gets changed. It never gets stopped.

Could be an Allosaurus.

Comic book artists are notorious for giving carnivorous dinosaurs arms and claws that are too big in an attempt to make them look more ferocious. I'd wager that whoever does the art for Heroes based that painting on a Carnotaurus recreation.

And for those who say "who cares", I have only the following response: http://youtube.com/watch?v=GkhMcyuYroA

it's not always the way you interpret it to be

Exactly what he said. Nathan interpretated Isaacs painting of the Home Coming confrontation between Sylar and Peter as Peter getting killed, while in fact it was Peter getting critically injured while later borrowing Claire's ability to save himself.

Isaac cannot control fate...he can only see specific images from the future. He gives clues of what might happen more so that his paintings determine what will happen exactly. What you see doesn't tell the story of what will actually occur.

GL1 has a point... unless somebody will change the future at some point. Which will happen, otherwise NY goes kablooey, and the show gets a whole lot weirder.

That looks more like a Carnotaurus than a T-rex. It's arms are too big but the skull's pretty dead on.

I'm just mad about the fact that since Hiro is Japanese he is going to be using a katana stereotypically! Other than that I am curious to see how this pans out haven't heard of a carnotaurus at all, so that makes it even more interesting.

i think there is some clever way around that problem....the writers will find a way to cause the explosion without demolishing NYC..
