Promo: (Not the best quality but only one I can find!)

I haven't (and won't) watch the preview, but heck I sure am looking forward to seeing more antics from Ragnar and co!

Another awesome promo! Can't wait!

Great lines about power and what it does to people. I assume it's foreshadowing events in Season 2.

Tomorrow we attack Paris!

Looking forward to it. :D

I did, been waiting weeks for this day :D

Interesting to see Donal Logue on this show. He plays Harvey Bullock on Gotham.

Looks like he's getting a lot of use outta that beard.

Ian Beattie aka Meryn Trant from Game Thrones played King Brihtwulf.

I didn't know Kevin Durand would be appearing in this show.

Athelstan is on his way to sainthood.

Athelstan is probably my most favorite character. They placed him in the middle of things so he's perfect for drawing us into this complex story. I really like the actor playing him, I haven't seen him in anything else before this.

The episode : wow
The preview : wow
Lagearta   Edit :hrt:

I just realized that too watching this episode for it didn't occurred to me when watching Gotham.

This show delivers like ten thousands trucks of awesomeness.

So Porunn's a shield maiden now is she? I DEMAND lots of epic mother-in-law/daughter-in-law badass team-ups between her and Lagertha. Do you hear me History Channel, make it happen:

Lagertha: "You had better be able to kick ass and take names if you want to be MY daughter, watch and learn."

Porunn: "You're both intimidating and inspiring at the same time. You know that don't you?"

Lagertha: "Of course, why do you think that Ragnar fell in love with me in the first place?"

The premiere started off slow, but picked up at the end. I like the storylines being set up here, especially Lagertha's.

It's so very Floki that he had to leave Hedeby because he couldn't stand being happy. :funny:

That was a great episode! Awesome way to kick off what looks like is going to be a great season.

I loved the look on the king's face when he realized the battle wasn't going his way. Was the uncle and nephew's plan really for the Vikings to split their forces? Who thought of that crappy tactic?

I wondering about those lousy tactics myself. Maybe these guys don't fight big battles much? :(

So happy Vikings is back! Great first ep of the season. I think I'll go watch it again :)

Agreed. I think they were not prepared for the total war strategy of the vikings (anything goes, win at all costs, etc). The vikings were thinking like much more experienced warriors, whereas the Uncle-Nephew duo were thinking in more ideal terms, so to speak (divide and conquer: not a bad strategy, but they set it up like amateurs; in fact, they divided themselves and expected the vikings to comply. Rookie mistake. :) )

Wow wow wow! That was amazing and I missed the adrenaline ride that this show is. The English were so stupid in their strategy standing on two side with no connecting way to get to one another. lol

Is there something wrong with the English woman they are helping? She seems kind of crazy in how she reacts to things like at the end of the battle with her uncle. I also think Ragnar is going to have his way with her.

I knew I didn't trust the guy in Lagertha's village for a reason. I hope he gets a brutal ending like this show can deliver.
