You know something? There should have been a sequel to Max Payne (2008). It's the best video game film out there, IMO. Now, I know the ending wasn't very open, but still. It would be better than this.

They'd have to reboot max payne. The first was flat out awful and was nothing like the game. I remember the badassness of the cut scenes in Max Payne. The movie wasnt anything like that.

Oh, I know it wasn't alot like the game, but it still was a pretty good movie.

It came out in 2006. A fifth one has been announced but it's been in been in development hell.

I always enjoy watching Hitman on cable. It's not a great film, but it's fun to watch from time to time, IMO. When I think about all the action movies, especially FOX, has neutered in terms of violence, I was happy that they didn't pull punches with Hitman, which could have easily been a heavily sanatized PG-13 kidfest. And imagine Olga Kurylenko without all the nude scenes! I can't stand movies with hookers and strippers who we NEVER see nude up, so this was more than welcome!

I've seen far worse films get sequels.

Fox is just a weird company in general. This feels like 'cheap cash grab' when I thought that era of Fox is way behind them. I guess not.

its been 6 years. they are about the lose the rights. so they hired very fast a cheap writter,cheap director and the cheapest actor from a big franchise. right now Fast Furious. voila.
