Hitman 2

Why can't the cast someone older, or atleast looks older... Looks gruf and gritty, maybe someone like Sean Bean, I don't know... But 47 needs to have a hard face.

Paul Walker is a fine enough actor, I enojyed his acting in that one direct to video he did...uh...The Lazarus Project.

Oh yea, and remember, Fox wants $$$. Sean Bean = no $$$. Nothing but a thud opening in 8th place and 3 million dollars. lol.

its been 6 years. they are about the lose the rights. so they hired very fast a cheap writter, cheap director and the cheapest actor from a big franchise. right now Fast Furious. voila.
Sounds about right.

BTW Liking the new avatar.

Paul Walker hasn't made money outside of Fast & Furious movies.

Does anyone know when this starts filming? I'm really curious because I have such a hard time seeing Walker in this role. But I'd love it if 47 gets caught and his response is, "I like the tuna here".

Damn! I was hoping this was going to be a sequel to the Chuck Norris movie from the late 1980's.

'Homeland's' Rupert Friend may step in for Paul Walker in 'Hitman' reboot

"Fast and Furious 7" wasn't the only film that Paul Walker had lined up when he was tragically killed in November. The star was also set to top line the "Hitman" reboot "Agent 47" for 20th Century Fox.

Now, the studio may have found a replacement in "Homeland" star Rupert Friend who's in talks to step into the role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Agent 47" is based on the popular videogame series from IO Interactive. "Hitman" was previously made into a film in 2007, with "Justified's" Timothy Olyphant in the lead role.

Aleksander Bach is directing the new film, with a script by Kyle Ward, Skip Woods and Michael Finch.

Walker was set to shoot "Agent 47" after wrapping "Fast 7," which is now on schedule to be released in 2015 with existing footage of Walker intact.

Friend has previously been seen on the big screen in films like "Young Victoria" and "Day One." He'll soon be seen opposite Matt Damon and Christoph Waltz in "Zero Theorem."

I didn't know they were rebooting Hitman. Man I love the games maybe not the last one so much Hitman: Absolution.

Anyway was disappointed with the first film. So hopefully this one in better.

If you compare pics of Rupert Friend to Agent 47, he's pretty much almost an exact facial match to the character, not to mention that he's just an inch shorter than the character (Friend is 6' 1", while Agent 47 is 6' 2"). If he bulked up a bit more, he would be perfect for the part.

As a matter of fact, I just looked up an interview of Rupert Friend and some other cast members from the Homeland television series talking about his character, and the way they describe his character and how he acts pretty much sounds like Agent 47-lite. :woot:

He seems pretty much right for the part.

Is this guy any good? Having Paul Walker as 47, would've been like having Keanu Reeves as Neil McCauley.

I love Rupert Friend on Homeland. He was one of my tip choices to play Batman. Honestly though... He's better than this. I'd rather see him in something that doesn't have that "this is probably going to suck" feel to it.

Zachary Quinto In ‘Agent 47′ For Fox Int’l

Zachary Quinto, who stars as Spock in Star Trek reboots (Star Trek Into Darkness), will be joining Rupert Friend in Fox International’s Hitman sequel, Agent 47. Quinto will be joining the project straight from the New York stage where he is co-starring to critical raves in The Glass Menagerie. Agent 47 is the project that previously was cast with Paul Walker in the lead. After the actor died tragically in a car crash, the project was postponed from its initial February start date and then recast. Friend (best known for Homeland) came aboard to replace Walker earlier this month. It will be directed by Aleksander Bach from a script by Skip Woods and Michael Finch. The project will now go before the cameras in March. Chuck Gordon, Alex Young and Adrian Askarieh are producing. Daniel Alter is the exec producer.

What the f**k...are they serious? So he's not going to be bald?

Because that shaved s**t...it isn't a hair-do. It's a hair-don't.

This may sound nit-picky, but Agent 47 is literally the easiest costumer ever. Just be a white dude with a bald head in a suit. It's that easy.

:o
