Hobgoblin and Scorpion looks

Or what about blue and green, like the one in Spider-Man, the game. That would look great as well.

What do you mean? Hobgoblin didn't show in Spider-Man, that was just another Green Goblin, whom Norman Osborn 'Hired'.

Personally I prefer the Hobgoblin design from the YouTube video, though I think his colors should be somewhat more subdued, reflecting that he's a more level-headed and traditionally ruthless character, as opposed to the flamboyantly insane Green Goblin. His cloak's a must- I've always found it one of the best visual identifiers of the character, and cloaks are just cool to boot.

^^ Oh. Thats what I ment by the 'blue look'. But anyway just so long as you can recognize the 2. See when I first saw this show and watched Catalyst, at the beginning of that episode I immediatly recognized this show's Green Goblin. Just so long as you can recognize him.

Its their descision on how they make them look like. And there WILL be a Season 3. It'll just take a long time. But the longer they take the better it'll be, eh? God save 'Spectacular Spider-Man'. It is too damn much of a damn good show to end with 2 measly-yet-good seasons. They need to EXPAND. I'm already starting to get bored with Season 2..sadly.

The Hobgoblin must have the hooded cloak. His weaponry - the glider, the bombs etc. I think that should be identical with the ones that the Green Goblin had. His body armor should be reckognizably similar to Gobby's, but not identical.

For the Scorpion, I kinda prefer something similar to the Ultimate look. I think that it's wicked.

the Hobgoblin from that video is good, but it'll be better with his ears not sticking out.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was referring to Scorpion from the Spider-Man: The Movie (PS2) game. He was - I believe - dark blue and green. Oh, and the same thing with the Scorpion from Spider-Man (PS1) game.

That's what I said ^^.

The Scorpion should be gold and black, like a real scorpion.

A combination between the original costume and high tech for Scorpion.

Hobgoblin should look different from GG, I od'nt want to see a crappy paint over job of GG's costume. I want to see something where it reflects Kingsely's obsession and menace on Spider-Man. I think he wants to separate himself form Osborne. He'll want to top him with everything he does. The costume should reflect all of this.

^^ Indeed. But remeber, just so long as we can identify him to be Hobgoblin. Whatever, and I mean WHATEVER they do, for the love of god I hope they don't go with the New Goblin look! If anything they should either save it for Harry or not use it at ALL.

^I'll second that. I seem to have enjoyed Spider-man 3 more than most, but I still thought the New Goblin look was silly- in this show, when (we all know it's going to happen) Harry takes up the 'family business', it should be with the same costume his dad used. Hobgoblin should look like Hobgoblin- cloak, color-scheme, and all. But then, all the villains so far have been recognizable as themselves, so I'm not terribly worried.

I'd rather have Hobgoblin look something like this.

Of course it should. because it should be played as a mystery of his identity. In spider-man 3, there was no question about who was behind the new goblin's mask. Harry pretty much had a blood feud with Peter.

At least in SSM, there's going to be questions. What's going on? is Norman back from the dead? If not, who else could be behind the mask?

Better story writing.

Well, it's not like we would've been surprised to learn it was Harry in the Goblin costume in SM3 if they had him use the same Goblin costume as before. The SM movies weren't crawling with crime lords or other figures who would actually use that stuff aside from the Osborns (plus it might've seemed a tad convoluted/futile to try and do that for the movies anyways).

As for Harry as the Goblin, maybe he can stumble onto some advanced designs Norman was working on and his outfit can look like a Spectacular take on the Philip Urich Goblin or something.

In the back of my mind I feel that they will make Harry The New Goblin,I hope they don't...

I'm not sure about that from a storytelling perspective, because we've already had the original Green Goblin mystery (twice over, in fact) plus (I would assume) a Hobgoblin mystery. Maybe we could have it be a question for an episode or so, or have it be a mystery for Peter while the audience is explicitly shown Harry behind the mask. Otherwise, I'm worried it would get repetitive. Besides, could Harry even fake the Goblin's polished glibness for very long without messing up? I'm not sure.

I think Harry should wear his dad's costume for the simple reason that he's doing this to honor/avenge Norman- of course he's going to use his supervillain identity. Creating the "New Goblin" look always struck me as just an excuse to sell more merchandise, and it was pretty silly-looking to boot.

If Harry does eventually don the costume, he should act different from his father, to the point that Spidey notices that this "Goblin" is not Gobby (much like he noticed that the Gobby at the Osborn residence was in fact the real deal and not another person)

As for Hobgoblin, I don't want his to be a simple re-color of Green Goblin with a cloak. He should look similar to Gobby, but with some large differences that make them physically different. I drew a picture a while back and posted it in the GG Appreciation thread...

I loved the whole pumpkin gimmick showing up even on Green Goblin's costume (belt buckle or something...fanny pack?). So Hobby should have it somewhere as well...it goes with his colors better

As for Scorpion, I did like the color scheme of gold and black mentioned earlier. We already have an abundance of green running around.
