RT is not very reliable... but when something is as low as 18%.. it kind of is
I've thought that before, but when you actually question that statement... not really.
On most occasions, if a film has an 18% or lower, you will most likely avoid it (unless it's property you are already interested in - I watched Fantastic Four regardless of it's 9% because I am obliged to watch all superhero films), therefore you wouldn't know if you missed an underrated gem.
Let's be honest, regardless of whether or not you
trust Rotten Tomatoes, you will live off of recommendations on most occasions before you watch a movie. If a movie has an 18%, you won't bat an eyelash.
As for me, GeekyGlassesTV said he liked it and his opinion is more reliable then RT (for me at least), and Chris Stuckmann is the
closest I've come to a critic whose opinion coincides with mine on most occasions.
He just uploaded his review, I'll need to check that out. Then I'll consider whether or not I should watch Warcraft in cinemas.
