That's just the cover! I'm sure that once the magazine hits the stands, there will be MANY more pictures!

EDIT: A second pic!

that second green-screen shot looks so much like that one cut scene from S:TM (during the earthquake sequence when he's flying around everywhere).

o_O

That's one unflattering cover. The airbrush work is just crappy. And his head looks like it was cut and pasted on the body.

I don't really think it's that bad. I can see the issues with it, but why is it that bad?

There are a ton of production stills with Routh looking a hell of a lot better than that butchered photo they put on the cover. It's like they gave him a big head, a big nose along with a scrawny neck. And his face really didn't need to be airbrushed. Everything about that photo looks disproportionate...one of the worst hatchet jobs I've seen.

No issues with the cover - the shield and the suit look great. Nice serious look on his face as well.

I would have went for the arms crossed with him smiling (like Reeve) but oh well, this cover is fine.

I understand that it is noticably photoshopped but it is a magazine cover.

The head looks off IMO

this cover is much better i think

The problem is the lighting and the composition, especially the angle of Routh. When you see his shoulder within the limited canvas of the magazine cover, it makes his head appear bigger, kind of like a forced perspective. And the lighting really emphasizes his nose which of course will make it prominent. Plus his nose is pretty large as it is.

Word

That cover is, dare I say it...Bizzare(o?):O

I think they're cool -- Brandon Routh has classic good looks.

He really reminds of a young Gregory Peck.

I don't like the cover shot at all. He looks too upset and the glasses are too big for his face. Didn't the filmmakers even watch the original movies to get an idea???

Remember how HUGE Reeve's glasses were? Talk about too big.....

It's done on purpose that way.

to hide his face more i would think..not for a fashion statement.

Routh looks like he's about to cry....or he's constipated. Or he's about to cry because he's constipated.

Oh god it's been confirmed that Jason throws a god damn piano... OH GOOD LORD SINGER WTF HAVE YOU DONE... THIS IS SUPERMAN RETURNS... NOT SUPERMAN WITH SUPERLAD... jaysus
