Probably Ghostbusters 2016. Like that movie, they are rebooting by casting comedians like Kenan Thompson, Ellie Kemper, and Pete Holmes.

What they fail to get is the original didn’t have comedians as the leads outside of O’hare who was still an unknown. The cast “serious” actors like Pesci and Stern, who made the script work. Even John Candy, who was probably the most known comedy actor, played his role more serious than goofball.

It's entirely possible Devin Ratray is playing a new character and not reprising his role as Buzz. Could just be a fun nod to the originals.

looks great. Just a fun goofy movie with holiday spirit. Noting more, nothing less.
It looks way better regarding to production value, than other Disney plus movies (excluding Togo)

They should have put this movie in theaters. It deserves the full theatrical experience.

If they tried to release what we just saw in that trailer to theatres, this would be your opening weekend.

It would appeal to younger kids whose parents are looking to kill a couple of hours. But it wouldn’t have the crossover appeal the first one did.

Most people stopped after the second one. They’ll never recreate the chemistry of the first cast. I mean, who knew Joe Pesci could do slapstick so well?

The third one isn't entirely awful but it's still forgettable. What's funny about 3 is that the biggest name in it at least going by today's standards is Scarlett Johansson and she only has a small part as the main kid's sister. That was one of her first movies.

Insane to think Goodfellas was released that same month!

Pesci was Hollywood's golden boy during that time between Home Alone, Goodfellas, Lethal Weapon 2-3 and My Cousin Vinny.
