I dated then ended up marrying my co-worker..so it'll work if it's meant to be.
Dated 6 guys I met through work, not all worked directly with me. One lasted a few years.
Same here. Worked for me.I dated then ended up marrying my co-worker..so it'll work if it's meant to be.
Lots of words.
Ask jaguarr about the psycho he hooked up with at work.
I remember your story jag, and yes while it was extremely problematic for you, and think it's possible in any working environment, I feel since he's working some retail job, even if things don't work out, I'm sure he can find a better place to work.Ugh. I'm not telling that story again. If someone wants to play with the Search function and see if they can find it, bully for them. Let's just say that none of the people posting in this thread advocating dating at work have a clue as to how bad things can potentially get if you happen to date a functional psychotic who's good at blending in with the normal people.

But now we can get into the arguement of you can find just a crazy a person anywhere besides just where you work. The apartment complex you live in, the gym you work at, etc. Is it at all possible? Yes. However, I'm still of the opinion that yeah it would suck, but it's just a temp job.
I'm not disagreeing that's it's not possible but for someone working at a "Hot Topic", ordinarily I don't think much will come of it.Yes, but a crazy person who works with you can compound the situation by turning things into a stalking on the job or sexual harassment charge, which could make it more difficult for you to find future employment. That's the big difference.

I've heard enough horror stories (including my own), even from people working in retail, that I'm comfortable enough in saying that it's just not that great of an idea to sh1t where you eat.

I worked in a video store for 4 years, and pursued a few girls I've worked with. *shrug*I've heard enough horror stories (including my own), even from people working in retail, that I'm comfortable enough in saying that it's just not that great of an idea to sh1t where you eat.

here's my advice:
go to work
work
meet and get to know your coworkers
work
work
punch the clock
leave
