Horizon Horizon Forbidden West

lol man im right at the end of the game before i can venture off into the DLC and STILL havent beat it...but this looks really cool. Glad to see more animals in the world.

I’m really glad the sequel is official. Hopefully they can push things even further this time.

That was the announcement of the day for me.
They didn't put a release date like they did with all other games, though. It makes me think it's not coming out in 2021. Maybe not even 2022.

I’m looking forward to the underwater stuff and new creatures.

I am going to guess you are right. Holiday 2021, with spring 2022 on the table. Next is probably God of War, which could be Spring or Holiday 2022.

I think they showed a lot in the trailer that I'm a bit optimistic that it would be released in Q4 of 2021. Like that has to be the big Ps5 eXclusive game of 2021.

Could be a while as we didn’t see gameplay. This and Spider-man have become good additions to Sony’s exclusive portfolio. God of War and Uncharted have always been my favourites but I’d slot these 2 into the games that really matter for me on PS.

I want to see them do a new creature feature.

Cant wait for this been replaying the first game. First game is like a top 15 game of all time and this looks amazing. This looks way better then any thing i have ever seen before when it comes to graphics. The water looks photo real, and ever thing else looks amazing to. Being able to explore underwater adds a lot to the game. Got to wonder with the underwater stuff what kind of new creatures may we see. The first game really only had 1 water based machine in the one based of a coridial. In this trailer we saw a turtle and i wonder if we could see like sharks or something. I hope the wait is not to long for this has we didnt get game play or a release date of any kind on it but a lot of games didnt show a release date either and most of them are likely 2021 games. I wonder how long before we get like dates and gameplay for a lot of the games. Maybe we will get that in august or something but at the same time august might be more about price and features of the system.

Coming to ps5!

I saw someone on youtube point out how similar the first trailer for the first game is to the first trailer for the second game. I think its a pretty cool call back to the first game. I noticed they originally had a 2016 release for the first game and it ended up coming out in early 2017 so a holiday 2021 release is definitely possible. With this being announced during a console reveal I'm sure Sony would want this to come out sooner rather than later.

The last game was probably my favourite of the generation, so very excited for for this.

You'd better be able to ride a T-Rex in the next one.

Despite being probably my favorite PS4 game of all time, I realized I never actually finished it so I'm back to playing again. It's taking me a little while to remember all the controls and functions though. :o

I actually haven't played more than an hour I think and I bought the game Day 1.

I'm waiting for the PC port to give it another chance but the FOV/camera distance annoyed me so much... I know Guerrilla Games confirmed no FOV slider for the port but I'm hopeful for a mod.

Horizon's combat is so sophisticated that it's really hard to get back to playing proficiently if you take time off from playing it and being immersed in the thick of it.

I am hoping they fix a bit of the structure from the first game here. I really enjoy it, but the first comes off as, "our first RPG" and I hope that means they make this game leaner, and not full of the side quests for side quest sake. They need to take a page from The Witcher 3 in that regard.

Also they really could with overhauling the upgrade armor system.

Is it? The gameplay is definitely fun, but the gameplay itself is super simple imo. It isn't Bayonetta or Devil May Cry.
