Project CARS looks really good.

Anyways, DLing the demo now. I didn't even know it was out till I saw the posts here.

No, it'll be running at 30fps, which I believe Driveclub will also be in 30FPS, at least that was confirmed back in June, that could of changed.

Of the big racing games coming out, in terms of visuals id go 4).The Crew, 3).Forza Horizon 2).Driveclub and finally 1).Project CARS.

Yeah as far as graphics go, project cars blows everything out of the water. But that's probably because there's a PC port for it yeah?

And yeah driveclub is 30. But all the rest is free roam and dc aint? That's a huge turnoff

Yea its primary platform is PC. Project CARS wont be a free roam, thats gonna be your more standard sim racer. I don't know about DriveClub.

Need for speed underground 2 was probably my favorite racing game, ever.

the sims are more popular and realistic but I enjoy arcade better.

Are you talking about Horizon 2? No you can use Automatic, Manual and Manual w/Clutch.

Its possible. I haven't really kept up with Driveclub at all. With Project CARS, Forza Horizon 2 and maybe F1 2014(I say maybe as its last gen only), ill pretty much be good on racers for the time being.

Ill prob stick with Forza myself. As much as im digging Project CARS, I don't enjoy playing sim racers without a wheel and iv yet to pick one up for my Xbox One or PS4. The ones im interested in go for as much as the consoles themselves. So im gonna have to wait at least until theres a current gen version of the F1 game out before i make that kind of investment.

No, Project CARS will feature track based, sport racing. You'll be able to choose a Motorsport and race in that league. From Le Mans(yes they even have a FULL 24 hours of Le Mans event) to GT and Formula One.

Oh nice, which Fanatec did u have? I had the 360 wireless wheel which I really dug save for the plastic pedals. Thought the wheel was really solid tho. It had great feedback and for 100 bux I thought it was a deal. I want the Thrustmaster TX with the F1 wheel attachment but that thing is 400 bux with the F1 attachment another 150.

Yea thats pretty much 1:1 with the standard Forza game. Most if not all, of the paint and vinyl options are present in the Horizon series. You can add body kits and the like, but its fairly limited, typically only 2 or 3 different styles of body kits.

Yea no kidding. I was also a bit disappointed, at least based on the demo, that it appears we aren't playing as the same "character" from the last game. I mean there were no mentions of my rise through ranks as one of the best drivers at the last Horizon festival.

I dunno, I was actually going to buy the game, but after playing the demo, it's just not for me. I rather be racing on an actual track. I'll stick to FM. I've already logged in over 100 hours.

Yea i typically prefer that experience myself, but im draw to Horizon due to the music festival setting they use. If it were just your typical open world driver like a Test Drive, i prob wouldn't jump on board or be as interested. Much prefer the licensed/circuit based drivers like the Formula One games or Forza.

so, I could take one of the cars, give it a paint job with "Superman colors" (red, blue, yellow) and maybe apply some logos/designs ( like wings or something ).

I'd be able to do that?
