Ted White's in his eighties now and definitely not what he was back in 1984. He was the scariest Jason by far, IMO.
Has anyone else here read any of the Nightmare on Elm Street comics?
I got the third issue of FVJVA: The Nightmare Warriors earlier and will read it later.
I got done reading the third issue, I think I need to wait for the other three to judge this story overall, but it is a little over the top in the third issue, but I guess that's to be expected.
Jason is reverted to a human form again near the end, looking close to how he did in the reboot. Apparently, the demons regenerate him back to his human state of being. I HATE the long hair look he has though, which seems to be the new thing for Jason these days, long hair.
The long hair looks ridiculous with the hockey mask though, IMO. It worked in Part 2 but not so much the other times.
Yeah, at first I was kind of annoyed that someone beat me to the punch of using horror movie survivors, but I'm glad it's in a total different manner than how I'm doing it.
But yeah I'm enjoying the run so far. Not sure how I feel about the Jason makeover.
She's Renny, the girl with the dog from Jason Takes Manhattan. I never knew she had empathy powers, unless they added that in the comic.I had an idea for a movie where the survivors of F13 2, 3, 4, and 5 all get together in a support group and head back to Crystal Lake in order to "face their demons" and end up battling Jason again.
While I'm glad they decided to do away with the Zombie Jason bit, I must admit his new look isn't the greatest.
Who the hell is this empathic chick who just got killed. Is she from one of the comics? Because I just don't remember her from any of the movies. They've got Tommy from #4-6, Tina from #7, Alice & Jacob from Elm Street #5, Freddy's daughter from Freddy's Dead, and Ash. But that other girl I just don't recall where she's from.
