It's official... $629 for the Batmobile which means it's out of my price league. That would cost me the better part of 800 US

just preordered one from bbts.com... with shipping,it'll come to about $625,which is near the Sideshow price.... NORMALLY no way i'd be able to get it,but considering it's noscheduled for release til March-April of 2013,that gives me a year to save up the money for it.... honestly,i know some people are complaining about it not coming til next year,but considering we have a bunch of TDKR stuff coming,including a rerelease of the tumbler, this year,it was probably smarter to put it off til next year so it doesn't get "lost" ( if that's possible) in all the Nolan-hype...

also,HOLY S#$T!!! estimated weight for the shipping on this mutha is 42 pounds!!! no wonder the shippping was like $45 !!

Good lord man. I don't blame you for passing on it. It's out of my range and I wouldn't have to pay that ridiculous shipping cost.

As sad as that makes me, it's probably true. They only announced that they got the license a couple months ago.

seriously,though,i'm fine with next year for the Batmobile and Returns stuff... most of us are still waiting for Keaton, we've still got Joker coming ,and after that the 2nd half of the year will be all about TDKR,and we'll have enough to get there with Batman ( reissue? or new figure?) , Bane,Catwoman, potentially Gordon,Ra's, and Bruce,and the Tumbler....

the focus for 2012 is Batman and TDKR....let BR have it's own spotlight in 2013,and not have to compete for dollars and market space with 2 other movies in the franchise...
