Anyone see the jumpoff tonight? I thought it was pretty good, not as good as it should be though. They've got House in this weird transitional place. He's not as funny as he usually is and I'm afraid of where they're gonna take his character. Characters should evolve but not to where they lose the most appealing aspects. I'm anxtious to see what he does when he finds out he was lied to about the paralyzed dude. They seem to be forshadowing some drug problems too with vicadin(sp?). Also, I wish they didn't eff with cameron, she doesn't look as hot.

Decent episode. But it almost seemed...short. Like there should be more.

Thought Cameron was still ****ing hot:o

At first I was like : they eliminated all the good juicy stuff from the show by curing House... then the plot thickened.

It was brutal, and stupid of Wilson and Cuddy to withhold the fact that House was able to cure the Quad. Wilson knew that House was trying to find his doctor MOJO. By withholding the fact that House had rediscovered his mojo on his midnight jog, only forced him to try and find it again, by stealing Wilson's perscription pad, and hooking himself up with some sweet vicadine.

1) I can't wait to see what happens when Cuddy and Wilson find out that House has been sneaking vicadine.

2)I can't wait to see what happens when Wilson and Cuddy realize that it is their fault that House turned back to his vicadine.

3) I can't wait until House hits rock bottom again, and becomes an even more sour bastard, more than we have seen him before.

I'm still not liking the no cain thing. I mean that was key for House

I don't think they'll have him cured for too long, they already showed that his leg was starting to hurt again (although they did try to brush it off as a fact of age). Anyhow, House is his cain, and House is the drugs, and House is bitter. Hopefully, this is just a story arc, and we'll return to the status quo at a later date.

If they have totally cured him, the show may have jumped the shark in it's second season premier, which would be really sad.

oh yeah, cuddy booby shots were great

I highly doubt this new House will be around for long. The writers have to know that his badboy attitude is what made the show and will hopefully return soon. All in all though, good show, especially compared to what's actually on.

It seems obvious to me he'll end up back with the cain, only a matter of time.

It was a nice start to the season, and the next one looks to be interesting.

It was a decent episode but nothing too special. And house is funnnier when he's sad..so they better screw up his leg again, sooner rather than later.

so, was the eye popping out, swollen tongue, exploding testicle guy from the season 2 finale just a halucination? Or was he real, and they fixed him?

I only bring it up, because when the guys balls exploded in Chase's face, it was probably one of the funniest momments in the show so far.

I just got into this show towards the end of last season. I saw the premier last night. It was good, but I'm a little lost. I guess I'll figure stuff out as the show goes on.

Hallucination.

I loved last nights episode.
Hallucination or not, it was great.

It didn't have my full attention, but next week I'll be on it.

That exploding testicle was one of the most horrifiying things I've seen on tv. God it was funny though.

Swollen tongue guy was real. His case was discussed prior to House getting shot.

The cane and the pain will return. The ketamine treatment only gave him a 50/50 chance of being permanently pain-free. However, I'm curious how he no longer limps since he is still missing muscle tissue. That is just as much a reason to limp as chronic pain. However, he will be fine until the storyline is established that most of his ailments (chronic pain, addiction to Vicodin) are in his head. The loss of muscle tissue is not just in his head, thus why I don't understand how he doesn't limp anymore.

Then again, this show has never been accused of being 100 percent medically-accurate.

Cuddy and Wilson have done the right thing. House got lucky. He had no supporting evidence for his theory. Just theories based on speculation.

I agree with you up to this point, this whole show is based upon his best guess. Toenails falling off, pigeon poop, steroid users, he's sort of a biological Sherlock Holmes putting together all the clues until there is only one possible conclusion. Either way this show is great, and even with it's few flaws, still one of the best shows on television.

that's nonsense. From our audience god view, we know that House was struggling to find his mojo. He finally got it back, but was lied to, and told that he hadn't solved the problem. So obviously he's going to go out and find that missing peice to make his doctor mojo come back.

THEY ARE SO WRONG FOR THAT. They essentially, forced him back into his opiate induced brilliance because they lied to him.

There is nothing right about that

Bravo!! Great minds think alike Freak, I couldn't have put it into better words.

The thing is: House never has "real evidence for his theories" and he gets "lucky" a lot. I'm sure Cuddy and Wilson now that too, but they are afraid that House's 'God complex' takes the better of him.
The question is: will Dr. Cuddy really keep her mouth shut?

I don't know if it's really luck, it's more of a process of elimination thing.

Dang.
I missed the first 20 minutes.
