Anybody catch this comic this week? Brilliant. One of the best commentaries on comics since Watchmen, including some nice critiquing of the current Golden Age obsession in comics, and rounding itself out with some good solid broadsides at culture in general. It's really too bad that this isn't a larger miniseries or ongoing, because I think it really could be just as good as Watchmen with a longer narrative and more force behind it.
