so jealous of ur plan warhorse it sounds awesome, my friends are not so much a fan of comic book movies as I am which totally sucks... I wish I had some fellow nerd friends lol :-( still should be an insanely awesome historical day though I can not wait

It's mostly just two of my cousins and me who are the fans, my mom is going because she loves Robert Downy Jr and Jeremy Renner, and then her sister and her boyfriend are tagging along for the beer.

Oh, did I mention, my theater serves beer!!!!!t: The Avengers in 3D, while intoxicated, should make for some interesting entertainment.

Well, it's a chain of theaters called Muvico, and their beer serving theaters are known as the premiere. The one near me is in West Palm Beach, Florida.

That's such an awesome marketing approach. Have you ever experienced others getting obnoxiously intoxicated and distracting you from the movie tho?

I thought lots of theaters served alcohol? The one I work at does as well, but we don't show blockbusters.

I can't fully concentrate on a movie if i've been drinking. Now, if i've been smoking or doing other mind bending substances? It's like i get sucked into the movie.

Yeah, I really wouldn't want to be intoxicated for the first time I see a movie I've been hyped for. I feel like I wouldn't be able to properly appreciate it.

The cinemas where I live had "Gold Class" areas where they bring you beers/food or whatever during the movie. You can tell them you want 4 beers, like one every half hour or whatever.

Its pretty cool but not cheap... I went with my wife to see Thor and with food and drinks it was over $100 from memory. I'll be going there to see Avengers but not the first time, the waiters can get distracting sometimes. Unless you are baked

Totally agree! I would love to be intoxicated when my gf forces me to see movies like the twilight series tho haha.



Well i live in a relatively small college town (Indiana University), so that may be why they don't serve alcohol here. IDK. I have always wondered why they serve alcohol at sporting events, but not in theaters. Now i know i just live under a rock
