How clean is your domain?

I'm very neat and tidy. I'm not crazy OCD clean, but everything looks nice, ya know? Like sometimes when you walk into someones house and you really don't want to touch or sit on anything so you kind of stand in an area. That sucks. So I make my place look comfortable. Everybody who comes in automatically jumps on my bed or couch. I always make my bed in the morning. I don't know why some people don't. Things don't get all that dusty. I vacuum once a week. My bathroom is probably the ugliest because my water pumps are terrible, so it takes FOREVER for anything to go down the drain. But, yeah, I don't obsess about being clean, but I make it a habit.

I will talk about my room, since I am not an adult nor living on my own.

I clean the dust 4 times a week. I sweep after I did that. 2 times a week with a mop.

My room is messy, comics all around, this that, but no dirt allowed.

It's about as clean as it gets, aside from a stack of papers and books on my desk.

While I'm certainly not a "clean freak" by any definition of the word, I think I keep my space as clean as can be, given the rather cramped conditions. Try jamming a queen-sized bed without rails, a 3-shelf video case, a miniature entertainment center, plus a fullsize desk and computer into a medium-sized bedroom that was probably designed with a 16-year-old in mind.

Organization is a moderate priority for me, though. I keep lots of stuff either labeled, placed in alphabetical order, or both (depending on exactly what I'm storing). I probably have about 20-25 feet of walking space, all things considered. Still, things could be much worse, and I'm very thankful they're not.

Well I live in a dorm room at the moment so its a pretty small living space so I make sure its well kept as best as it can be. No leaving dirty laundry around like I used to. It all goes straight to the hamper and that stays in the closet.

Well I have a maid who comes clean three times a week plus my GF hates mess so she tidies up herself so I would say pretty clean.

I'm 60% clean and neat. The other 40% is slowly taking over

My place isn't real junky, I just need to pick stuff up off the floor. I keep saying I'll straighten up, but I usually get so tired and lazy that everything just stays there.

I have two different areas - working and living.

In the living area, I like it to be clean AND tidy - there is a difference. I don't like going bed with pots in the sink. I like everything to be ready for the morning. I don't want to get up and tidy yesterday's mess up.

My working area is a different thing altogether. I can't work with organisation; it takes the fun out of everything, So in my study I have books out and in some cases open, various manuscript drafts lying around. It's not like I'd be too lazy to clear it up, because I do. But I always like a lil hustle on my desk. If it looks busy, there's more chance of me getting in the busy mood while I'm in there.

My wife and I always keep our house clean and clutter free. The only exception is we can't seem to get rid of my kids' magic toys...the one's that magically appear in the hallways, on the steps, in the yard, etc. no matter how many times we pick them up and put them away. :cmad:

I'll be the first here to admit my place isn't the neatest.
I have a clutter problem that tends to get worse as the school year draws near (probably due to projects and exam prep).
I wouldn't say it's dirty though, just messy.
I will admit that my computer desk tends to get over-run by empty pepsi bottles and cigarette packs though.

My part of the house is pretty clean other than some dust that has built up in some areas. And it looks messy but I know where everything is. Sort of controlled chaos I guess.

well i went to the doctor last month and he said my domain was clean enough...

...oh wait *clicks the link on the first post* DOH!!!

I'm relatively clean. Over the course of time things may start to look messy, but it's really just leaving clothes around, DVDs and video games in front of the TV and comics next to the bed. Only takes 10 minutes for my place to look good again, 20 if I sweep and mop.

This thread got me curious to see what kinds of situations everyone else is living in: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=315818

So yea, how do you live?

Cleaner than that **** hole.

Since the dumpster is just 5 feet away from my apartment, down stairs in the underground garage. There's no reason for me to have trash of any kind pile up, inside or outside on the patio & balcony area. I make sure there's no dishes before I head to bed every night. And I vacuum my place twice a week. To keep my place smelling as nice as it may look. I hose it down with this ....

I like my place to be beautiful ...all tidy and clean.

There are many expressions that can be used for the state of my room. "Looks like a bombs hit it" "A pig sty" "A tip" etc etc.

My when the missus comes round i make it a little more presentable. And when my old dear moans at me I call it "An organised mess" :D

My domain is perfectly organized, although I've prepared for the worst case scenario of zombie/evil alien overlord invasion and because of that I am the only person who knows where everything is. :D

Yesterday I cleaned a little. I even swept the entire place.

Storms are expected..

i have a cleaning lady who cleans every friday, makes my bed, wipes down everything, vacuums, straigtens up,mops, does the dishes, and my laundry.
