A Fast and The Furious movie!!! Given the fact that the franchise was born of a totla rip-off of Bigelow's Point Break!!

right, because that's the next logical step for her career

Yeah 'Crazy' would be the right word for it.

I wanna see her direct a Bond movie.

Why would anyone want another Fast and Furious movie, aren't 4 more than enough?

that's..insane.
and the answer would be no

Not when the fourth film makes over 340 million dollars worldwide. If the stars and the studios wanna do more, we'll get more.

And what, The Hurt Locker's this big critical darling with all this award potential, so she can't do a fun, silly action movie with street racing?!? I hate this idea that once a director or any filmmaker does a film that gets all this award recognition (mind you some of those people are the same people who claim to not take some of those awards seriously, anyway!), there's this expectation that they never do a film that know won't be recognized the same way that previous film was. It's not that the film is bad, it's just that it's not a film anyone would expect to be recognized by, say, the Oscars.

Believe me, I think it's a miracle the franchise didn't get relegated to Direct-To-DVD Hell after the first film, but dammit if that fourth film wasn't a lotta fun!

The thing is, there's literally no appeal in fast, colorful, annoyingly loud cars.

They're stupid and street racing is stupid.

I hate the entire Fast And The Furious franchise.

I couldnt agree more. I dont know... I really see nothing entertaining about people driving cars really fast.

Some of us just dont like movies like Fast and The Furious.

There's no appeal for you, but there is a large group of people who are into modding and racing cars.

how crazy would it be if she took over the Tonight Show

I'm waiting for Hurt Locker 2: Locking Harder.

going back to the F&TF franchise, only the first two were good, Tokyo Drift and the 4th one were bad beyond anything released straight to DVD.

I wanna see her direct a Bond movie.
SHe's part of group of directors who i'd like to see direct bond however like 90 % of those guys hate working under studio pressure.
Ditto with BIgelow who IMO seems to be churning out the best results when she has her creative freedom.

And i think that is the same case with the bond franchise .

Yes me included.
I saw the 1st , 2nd and 4th movie and hated them all.

Should be Hurt Locker 2 : Hurtin' Harder.
Lol that sounds like the title of a porno

True Lies 2

Oh hell yes.

it is stupid that some people like fast cars?

You apparently haven't seen the millions of pieces of **** "custom" cars spawned because of that first movie.

The movie didn't spawn anything that wasn't already out there.

Fool you once, shame on them.
Fool you twice, shame on you.
Fool you three times, I'm just gonna assume you like getting fooled! :woot:

Why don't I believe this.jpeg

The second Fast and The Furious came out, everyone ran to the junk yard to be like Vin Diesel or Paul Walker and you know it.

Talk all the smack you want on the F&F franchise, but given the box office for the 4th film, all I can say is the films and the scene it portrays are not going ANYWHERE.

You realize there's an entire sbuculture of street raceing and people who do custom mods for their cars that's been around long before Fast and the Furious, right? The decision to even make the film was sparked by an article about street racing, which is cited in the credits for the first film.

You can argue that the culture has gotten more exposure due to the films (reality shows covering car shows and legal street racing events), but that's about it.

Vin Diesel needs this franchise so he can keep paying his gym membership.

Paul Walker needs the franchise so he has something to do between waiting for Keanu Reeves to turn down roles so he can do them.

How crazy would it be if Kathryn Bigelow had a sex-change. Changed her name to Keith and became a Gigolo.
