How do you sleep?

Somebody's definitely storing a database of our answers and is intent on using it to take over the world...

I woke up about an hour ago and haven't been outside yet :P It grey and cold looking, but I don't plan on going out unless I have to go hunt down some dinner later, hehe.

You make me want to read a Rebus book because of where you're from, but I don't have one with me. :(

Anyway... I still sleep the same as what I said before.

"I sleep in a big bed with my wife".

Points for the reference.

Just go watch Trainspotting :p

I can sleep anywhere at anytime anyhow anywhy... I'll exclude the anywho.

The other night, I came home, ate some of my fries and my Big Mac and fell asleep on my living room floor... I believe I was talking to someone on Skype.

I fell asleep in the middle of downtown New Orleans one time in the middle of the night... woke up at 7am with no clue where I was on the planet at that time.

I fell asleep in various random dorms in college... mostly on floors.

I fell asleep standing up one time... :csad:

All these situations have a commonality besides sleep, btw.

I have to have the TV on when I go to sleep. I can't be in total darkness and/or silence as my mind will tend to run and I'll never get to sleep. Music doesn't work for me as I end up getting into whatever song is playing. So something mindless on the TV is the only thing to get my mind at ease and then I can sleep.

In the summer, I sleep with a fan on. In the winter, a tiny heater is going. Mainly because my bedroom gets insanely hot and cold at those times of the year, and I even have central heating and air. Also because I cannot sleep in total silence, I would go out of my mind.

I sleep with the door open in total silence. If it's winter and cold, I have my portable heater on which makes a little noise.

I sleep on my side with my head dug inside my pillow, with the tv on.

i slept with lamp for on till i was about 19 and also some music on occasion.

complete darkness and cold room for me now please.

don't care about noise, i can sleep through anything

I've had a nightlight for like, my whole life. I share the bedroom with two other people, and they can't sleep in total darkness...

I usually have the bathroom fan on. I used to like the fan in my room to be on, but it's right near my head (whoo-hoo, bunkbeds) and it makes this annoying rattling noise all the time now.

And I usually fall asleep while laying on my side.

Naked. That might not be true.

As for ambience, I prefer there be some noise in the background, mostly cars and urban stuff. If I really can't sleep, I'll play around with my iPod, or just, um, do other things...

I can't sleep nekkid. I always think that I'll roll over in the night and something will get trapped under me and then rip off when I complete my roll. :(

Do you sleep on an....egg crate?

*drum roll and cymbals* :woot:

It has to almost be completely dark.

And in the winter I listen to the noise of the heater kicking in and in the summer I put a fan on for noise.

And I always usually sleep on my sides looking away from the windows at the wall.

Fixed :o

Lights off, with a podcast or film on. Silence is not an opinion. Also I can't be too warm.

There must be dark, lots of it, and there must be noise as well. I usually use an fan or something for the noise. But my favorite thing is the television lulling me to sleep.

I've been sleeping with light trance music on(iTunes radio) lately.

I like complete darkness too.
