How do you sleep?

The real question is "when you sleep, where do your fingers go?"

Has anyone ever slept in a closet before? I've done this twice. The first time was for the hell of it and the second time was at my friend's house and that was the only place left. It wasn't so bad though because he had a nice little bed set up.

I can sleep with lights on. The only thing I hate is if the lights are off but there's something like a laptop light or some other electronic with a blinking light. It's annoying.

I like a noise in the background, usually the A/C or something.

I also prefer it to be cool at night. When I first moved into my dorm it was so ****ing hot I slept with no covers on. It was terrible.

Did you see Tom Cruise in there?

The room should be dark and cool, the blanket not heavy enough to make me sweat, and the noise level has to be low. The only time that changes is if I'm dead tired. Since I have problems going to sleep, I usually exercise a bit, take a shower, and take a tablet of melatonin before I hit the hay.

Sleeping with your eyes open used to sound so cool when I was 6, but it's 13 odd years later and I still can't pull that off. :csad:

I can't comfortably sleep unless I have the TV on, music, or something playing on the desktop...

Last night, I went to sleep on Space Ghost Coast to Coast. :p

I find it funny when people say, "Who needs sleep? We waste a third of our lives sleeping!"

I'm usually like, "Yes and if we didn't we'd be grumpy as hell the other two thirds."

I love sleep. I think it's the closest we'll ever get to time travel. :oldrazz:

I sleep with my AC Unit turned down to 66, my ceiling fan on, and a little desk fan on my dresser pointing towards me.

 but not for your bizarre reasons

I would honestly prefer to spend more time in my sleeping life than in my waking one.

I slept in until 3 in the afternoon today, and while some may declare that blatantly lazy, it was because at 12 I awoke and hit snooze on my alarm clock, and continued to hit snooze every 9 minutes until 3.

It was like I was slowly piecing together my own little complex DREAM reality, lol, with towering turrets and a consistent set of dream physics and logic, constructed meticulously like a watchmaker, tick tick tick, and at one point the dude from Smart Guy stole a bag of Doritos in it and was taken away by the police crying:up::up::up:

Far more rewarding than my waking life, where I went to the grocery store and got myself a meal of burnt sausage and mac and cheese, which I ate with a PLASTIC FORK:wow:

For like the past tw or three months I sleep with some music playing every now or then. Either Dane Cook or Three Days Grace usually. Try not to let it play through all night long.

Or...sometimes I sleep with my door open so my cats can lay down with me.

:o one time I woke up with cat vomit on my left foot. I was like :wow:
