Got a card for $17.99, a 3 month card and it doesn't work. The screen says after I enter the code says something like the code is out of date or was already in use.

I then read on the PS3 screen that a credit card is *maybe* required. What the hell...? That makes no sense. Why the..why have cards then?

It also is showing incorrect math as well when trying to make the purchase. Brother has 0.24 in wallet on there, says it added 17.99, then says 0.75 would be left in wallet.

I only got this ''card'' to back up Dead Island and the like onto the servers.

Why must things be complicated?

You have to have a CC on file, because it auto-renews after your three months are up. Just add a CC, then use the PSN card, and the delete the CC after you have that little Plus sign next to your name. Hope this helps.

I think I bypassed that, cause I have the Plus sign by name and actually backed up some Dead Island onto the PSN Plus server...of course that itself may have been a error. I'll check and see next time bro turns it--PS3--on.

I don't have a credit card.

So seems like I need to buy a new card pretty soon!

Still never got a e-mail from Sony saying I had PSN Plus. Even on the PC, after signing in on the PSN site it seems like I don't have Plus, when in fact I do.

Strange. I don't see why you would *need* a CC since you can turn auto-renewal off.

Yeah, it's weird. Got a second card recently...think we have Plus til June. I ain't sure...again, I never get a freaking e-mail so I ain't sure when Plus expires. Annoying. Think I'll tell the cool guys at Gamestop this...I wish Gamestop was ''better''. Like...a bit bigger...more new stuff, not so much mostly used...better trade-in deals...other than that Gamestop > Walmart, Target, Best Buy when it comes to buying gaming stuff in person. :o if I were rich I'd be like 'Sup, Amazon'
