How JLA can fix DC movieverse

I was just illustrating my point by bringing up Superman's own movie, which even as a pop culture icon he still couldn't make enough for WB to finally decided to abandon it for a fresh reboot. And bringing together Superman and Batman will have some hurdles ahead, but once together on the big screen the movie will be huge, but record-breaking? I guess we'll see (if the movie is ever made, that is).

Who the hell said anything about breaking records?

Two words: Motion Capture!

People are more forgiving of CGI and it could be a cool way to make a series of DCU films leading to a Justice League movie.

1. Arkham City style Batman movie starring Kevin Conroy

2. Superman

3. Flash

4. Green Lantern

5. Wonder Woman

add Bruce Timm to these projects and we got our own successful DCMU!

I think Beowulf was awesome, and the mo-cap in Avatar was amazing.
Now that would be AMAZING! - Especially if they also got Mar Hamil. :awesome:

Superman and Batman in a film together would make far more money. Avengers isn't going to break records like people think.

You weren't implying that Superman/Batman movie will break records, even though you were saying that it will make "far more money" than Avengers?

I also said the Avengers wasn't going to break records either in case you missed it. I stand by the statement that I think a Superman/Batman team up movie would make more money, if Avengers had Spiderman and Wolverine in their line up it'd be more of a coin flip situation but they're not.

for some reason i cant accept a jla movie without bats & supes as the original superheroes.i was thinking instead of going for several superhero movies sharing the same universe, why not just give us just un saga:
1.The man of steel(cameo by rebooted Bruce Wayne)
2.Worlds finest(batman & superman teamup movie introducing at the very end Barry Allen Arthur Curry & jon jonz that were being held captive by Lex Luthor)
3.Justice League(the earth faces a bigger threat at the same time diana prince comes into our world, so to say, & green lantern comes in from oa to help is home planet)

Even with Spiderman and Wolverine in the line up, I still don't think an Avengers flick will ever dethrone a Batman & Superman film. Both Bats and Supes are the most recognizable (and marketable) superheroes on the planet. These two franchises have been the most experienced and successful in the genre when coming to the big screen as well.

Anyone remember the big hub-bub that the 'cameo' poster of a Batman & Superman film in I Am Legend created? I think there was even a Yahoo article written shortly after the stills from Will Smith's film were released speculating on a possible team up between Batman & Superman.
