I have a small gut and wanna' lose it. I haven't been made fun of for it so I suppose that's good. I guess it has to be bigger in order to get made fun of.:o

It's just annoying so I wanna' get rid of it.

I ran a mile Friday, yesterday I ran a mile and walked about three miles. How long does it take to notice a difference?

By the way, I eat healthy. I haven't had any chocolate or anything since the end of May. I never ate much of it anyway.

I think this should be in the fitness thread, but whatever.

Eat right, do situps, work out, and limit the soda and junk food. Most likely you may have to stop drinking soda period, which sucks because it tastes good. But remember this...the acid in coke can get rid of crap off pennies.

Holy crap, we have a thread? Oops.:O

The only time I drink soda is when I go out to eat. But that's not often.

Well, how old are you? Knowing your age can help determine a better workout for you.

Oh, well then it shouldn't be too hard to get into good shape. Running like you've been doing is a good idea, but you won't see results right away. Just get a good running working in about 5 days a week, and don't slack. Eat healthy at the same time. Maybe get some light weight lifting in.

Whatever you feel comfortable with.

So run like that everynight? What if there's a night where I might have alot of homework to do and tests to study for? Can I skip once in awhile if I really can't do it?

I lift weights already but I haven't done that in a few weeks.

Yeah refer tp the "Official Hype Fitness Thread"....hold on I shall bump it for you.

Could a Mod merge this with the other thread?

My fault, sorry.

Well, on some days run more than others. I'd say run three days fairly hard, then take the other two lightly.

If you can't run 5 days a week, then at least go for 3.

What if I went for 2 miles a day? Run one mile, walk for a few minutes, run another.

Cutting soda out of your diet alone can work. I did and lost 10 pounds just from that.

Depends on the person I suppose.
I never had a gut, but I wanted tone in my stomach so I started doing 100 sit ups a day.
That works. But you might wanna start off smaller and work your way up or you might hurt yourself.
And yeah, pop = bad.
I stopped drinking it for about a year and a half, started feeling better in general and then I started again and it kept giving me heartburn.
