I was wondering this today. Can somebody please tell me how long Superman will naturally live? I once heard someone say he is forever 30.
It's hard to tell. Different writers have done it different ways. One thing that seems to be a trend though is the older he gets, the slower he ages. The more sunlight he absorbs, he becomes more powerful and his age begins to slow. Kingdom Come and Batman Beyond(JLU episode) show Superman growing older, but not nearly as old as everyone else. While others are in their 80s like Batman, Superman only has some graying hairs and is still insanely powerful(possibly even more powerful). Others think he might be immortal. I don't know if it's ever been fully addressed though.
without sounding to geeky, no kryptonian has ever been allowed to mature and age under a yellow sun. there is no precedence for something like this. If the sun's radiation continues to feed him, and keep his cells regenerating he could last until our sun fades and dies. or until sales decline.
this question is clearly dependant on the whether there will be a source of yellow sun radiation for him
ultimately if he eats right and works out, he could live for a few hundred thousand years, if not a few billion
especially if he just stayed at the centre of the sun and didn't do much.
if he was on kypton, he probably would live to about the equivalent to a normal human.
How long is Superman's natural life?
These days? One movie, apparently.
keeping fit is very important, I would go as far as to make it a national law if i could.I love the way you stated 'if he eats right and works out' as if it's all that's needed for natural longevity. It cracked me up. You must be based in LA. !

Being healthy shouldn't be a lifechoice, it should be a national necessity and who not to showcase this more than a superhero (fictionally speaking).
meh, exercise and nurition pwns all...Superman's fuel is the sun, so he is rather a different animal to the rest of us.
Longevity is influenced by far more than visits to the gym or diet. Genetics for a start. And intelligence - which ensures good decisions to avoid risks to life and health.
And those in Hollywood who still look good at a ripe old age (Joan Collins, Elizabeth Taylor) are relying on far more than fitness and nutrition - wigs, make-up and cosmetic surgery!
Has there ever been a solo Superman story told in the future, where every he loved is gone and most of the villians as well? Kind of like Superman Beyond. I would buy it.

I thought that was Nuclear Man in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
