How Long?

does anyone how long Spiderman will wear the black suit? For half of the movie?

If this was already asked and answered please just tell me

More than likely half...he fights in the red/blue suit...gets the symbiote...then looses it.

Good question, sony's promoting the black suit quite a bit, of course is a crucial part of the film but well I think lets say the movie will be 2:20 min long i would say from the 1:20 minute mark to the 2:10 mark peter will use the black suit. Aproximately from then on it will be the birth oif venom and the final battle.

I'am thinking that if sandman is the main villain raimi will emphazise more on the sewer/subway battle than on the construction site battle. Raimi has never made the final battle the main event.

In part 1 it was the TS battle that showcased the more spectacle action. In part 2 it was the clock tower/train fight. In part 3 it will either be the sewer fight or the battle royale. But i doubt it will be both. There's always one that's emphazised more if you will.

I'd say for a third of the movie. In the first act he has the red/blue one, then in the second he gets the symbiote, and in the third he loses it and fights in the red/blue one during battle royale.

yeah, hell fight sandman first with red n' blue and get his a$$ kicked, (my theory), then he'll get the symbiote and beat the hell out of sandman and his relationships will fall apart with the people he loves and he'll realize the suit is evil and hell get rid of it

I wouldn't be surprised if symbiote Spidey wasn't around for that long. Remember how they promoted Spider-Man losing his powers in the 2nd one? How long was Peter powerless in Spidey 2? Like 10 minutes?

O well lets say the from the 1:20 to the 2:00 mark then. remember there are like 8:00 min of credits or more maybe, so I say then1:50 mark from then on it could be 7 min for venom's origin and the kidnapp of MJ and the other 23 min for the BR build-up the battle itself and end credits

I kinda of agree, Spiderman was power absent for a small time in spiderman 2 but of course in reality(within the movie) it was a while

true, but I think it will feel like longer, due to the fact that they need to give an entire backstory as to where the symbiote came from, how it found parker, how parker got rid of it, then onto eddie. so I have a feeling it will feel like it is in most of the film

From what it seems like is going into this movie, I think it could be very close to pushing 3 hours. Maybe 2:45 run time. So I wouldn't be surprised if Pete had the symbiote for about an hour of that or so. Possibly 90 minutes. But I think it'll be closer to half the movie than more/less.

Im sticking with my guess that Peter and the Sandman and first Harry/Peter fights will happen early like in the first hour of the movie then the symboite & black suit and fight with sandman and harry in the next 45 minutes of the movie leaving 45 minutes for the creation of Venom maybe one fight or meeting of Venom and Spiderman because (Peter dosen't know Eddie has the symboite or that he is Venom and yet Venom/Eddie knows Peters Spiderman) They would need to have one confritation once before the final battle for him to reveal he knows that which I think that could take 15 or 20 min which still leaves 25 minutes for the set up and final battle. My guess is a 2 hour and 30 minute run time.

actually, the first peter vs. harry fight happens a few minutes into the movie, like 10 minutes.
