How many times are you going to watch Spidey 3?

Well it looks like some people make too much time. Like I said, seeing a movie 10 times in 1 weekend is just being extra and actually quite pathetic. What it does, is show how empty and lonely your life is. Get some friends, get laid or make some babies, do something. But seeing a movie 10 times? Pfft, I dont care how much I love something, I'm not going to waste my weekend on it.
I love spider-man, more than many of you here and the complaints I make are valid because I actually give a damn and refuse to settle and sit by, acting as though everything's ok but hey, if it bothers and annoys you, then maybe I should change my name to, Mr I dont give a f-ck. Deal

I plan to see it once each night on opening weekend, then probably once a week until it ends it's theatrical run....(there's a theater near where i work, so on Fridays it's no problem for me to swing by and catch a show...it's a great way to end the week, and kick off the week-end)...

Well I saw the first two both four times each. Over the course of the summers they came out it. So there were gaps. A movie like this usually plays for a while.

So as long as it is just as good (probably going to be even better) I'll most likely see it four times. I'll be working at a movie theater over the summer so even if I don't officially see it more than twice. I will most likely be watching it on breaks and such.

Of course there is more competition this summer.

lets see...twice the first day...one more time on that saturday...twice every week its out (prob. 8 weeks i dunno)...a million times when the dvd comes out...that adds up to 19 times in the theaters and a million on the dvd.....soooooo the total is 1,000,019 times...

I've invited all my friends and family to watch the movie on May 5th... that evening is going to be sooo awesome.
I'm thinking about watching the film on May 1st too... cause my friends are surely going to ask a load of questions about the movie while watching it. So maybe watching it alone is a good idea

I always try to see comic book movies, at least, twice.
The second time to see the movie without all that excitment of the 1st time clouding my judgment.

But, if the movie sucks (which i bet it will not), one is more than enough.

Why this topic has evolved into some kind of insult for those who are going to see a probably excellent movie more than 2 or 3 times?
I saw Spidey 2 four times in like 2 months, and I don't regret at all. It was amazing share the feeling with a full theater and friends. I rather see several times a movie that I actually dig, and not some crappy comedy with Hugh Grant or another asian horror movie.

I have my whole weekend Planned out - Midnight Showing - Check the boards - Saturday Morning - Check the Boards - Saturday Night look for other people's observations While watching it the Third time - Hit the boards - Sunday, IMAX. Rest Until Wednesday - Hit the theaters sometime that day - Then one last planned showing that Friday.

And after that I'll see it again when I feel the need.

Frankly, I want to justify the amount of time I have spent on these boards by seeing it multiple times. The hours spent posting and chatting about it will never outweigh the hours I spend watching it. I've been on SM3 boards since last April. The movie will be in theaters a significantly smaller amount of time.

So, I won't consider it a waste of life since I have devoted so much time to anticipating and thinking about it.

Also, got any ideas about what your gonna do when you get to the theater to watch sm3?

examples: running, and siting at the very back, or dressing up in a spidey suit (lol), buying large amounts of popcorn, bringing all ya`ll friends, etc

By the way, how will you guys react when you see the film? Me and my friends are gonna be screaming, jumping up and down, and probably curseing...alot.

I'll see it twice, one for pure experience, one for anaylzing.

If SM-3 is epic, it'll be the ONLY ONE that has uptained that status!!! SM-3 can be as epic as it wants to!!! that's what I'm hoping for, and most others I'm sure... Mr7000 is right, seeing a movie 10 times in a weekend is just plain idiotic. Not to be harsh, I like these movies. I will probably see it once or twice in all, and maybe once or twice on DVD in a long time. I understand that some of you are HUGE fans and you want to see it a bunch, but seeing it 5+ times is...Sad. I would never think of watching it more than 3 times, but that is because I am not a huge fan...I dont read comics or anything.

As for being negative, so what? I bet you'll assume I am one of his other accounts coming to "back him up," but no, I just find it sad how much time is wasted on these things...
