Daredevil How much better is the Daredevil show better then the movie?

The movie was pretty bad. It has early 2000 film written all over it.

As for getting another movie or sticking with tv. Its quite a successful tv show on Netflix so there is no need to go back to the movies. I figure most fans would prefer 13 one hour episodes over 1 two hour-ish film.

Personally love the Directors Cut version of the Affleck film, but as a complete 'adaptation' and presentation of the characters, the Netflix series gets so much right.

You'd think that, but I still see the occasional person vehemently complaining about the disrespect of being reduced to a "mere TV show".

There are pros and cons. However, I think the pros to Daredevil being a TV show far outweigh the cons.

If it were a movie, I'm not sure the characters and relationship between people like Stick and Kingpin would've been as fleshed out. Heck, Stick was totally jettisoned from the original movie. Mark Steven Johnson didn't like him because he claimed he was like a Mr. Miyagi type of character.

We also get the college relationship with Elektra seeded in early and then she comes back later.

A con would be like they have a much smaller budget to work with. Like in season 2, we get only one really cool stunt of Daredevil doing the big swing with the billy club.

Immeasurably. The show is immeasurably better than the movie.
