Don't spend more than you would on a DVD.

Hmmm... DVD's range from $10 to $30 depending on whether you're hitting the discount bin or the latest releases "collector's edition".

I might see if I can get a decent action figure of Sue Storm or other Marvel female.

I don't give anything I wouldn't want to get, so I never give gift cards.

That's kinda what I was getting at. There are some DVDs that I wouldn't spend $5 on, much less $30, and others that I would be more than happy to spend $30 on. It depends on a lot of factors....as should the gift.
