since the second film and this one?

i never seem to see people talking about this so i thought itd be gr8 to discuss because it could have an effect on the story.

if it took off immediately after 2 then we could see news on the warehouse, see harrys progression and itll have to show something gr8 to make NYC love him so much (spidey day)

lets say 1 year after two, harry couldve bin upto anything, backstory on wat has made spidey so gr8 for the Spidey day and would show how much PP and MJ have progressed....

what do u think?

I was wandering the same thing,I hope it's the same day we see spidey swinging off through the city at the end of the second movie...

Doubt it, Harry's hair has changed a little bit since Spidey 2... :spidey:

maybe, but in the trailer where the pumpkin bomb explodes in his face, he's wearing the same suit he was at the end of spidey 2 and his hair doesn't look that different there either  i think it will be like a flashback sort of thing to show wat happened right after SM2, and then we'll see a few weeks(or years) on how Parker n MJ r gettin on n wats goin on in the world etc.

.....or maybe he just got a haircut lol :)

3 years has passed since events from Spidey 2.
I hope not, that be WAY too much time, considering the whole Harry business.

I have read a few times it is somewhere around a couple of months time frame, but no one is really sure just yet.

In an issue of Wizard Magazine, they said this film is to take place three years from SM2, which is the same time frame of the actual film. Consider this, it cannot take place right after the final swing in SM2, because Harry would need time to redesign the Glider and body armour into what we see in the teaser. Think about it.

I was hoping for a continuation straight from the end of no. 2, as it could be spidey swinging to fight the 4th villain in an opening battle

I have read it somewhere also but I dont know if that is confirmed.

oh...i'm sure you have...but Cinemaman has a habit of throwing unestablished "facts" around as if they were true...i just enjoy calling him on it.

LOL, don't forget his movie B.O. predictions that are way off. :o :O

Well... it would make sense if the time frame was a couple years. So Harry could redesign the glider etc.
But are we sure that the GG is going to be Harry. Could it be Norman? I'ce seen the trailer, but I don't remember if they specified if the GG was Harry or Norman.

I believe it should only be about 2 months after SM2.

yeah, I agree just a couple of months... maybe 3...

Just curious, but since we're somewhat on the topic, how much time passed between SM1 and SM2? Was it 2 years?

Good point. I would rather it only be a few months though.

Aunt May said it had been "two years" since Uncle Ben's death. Since the course of events in the first Spider-Man spanned relatively long period, it can be assumed that Spider-Man 2 takes place a little over a year after the first.

As far as Spidey 3.... a few months sounds good. Making it a year or more, strangely enough, seems to kind of stretch the credibility a bit.
