How often do you change your avatar?

Are you one of the crazies who changes it daily? Or maybe you never change it as its become synonymous with who you are? maybe you fall somewhere in between or change it on a whim?

Me personally, I usually keep the same one for 1000 posts

but i've had a few that i've used multiple times over the years:

I used to change it whenever but I had my Mr Freeze avvy for over two months back in April and May and now I might keep my Batman & Robin Bane avvy for another month.

I make my own, but I usually like to keep the ones I make for a couple weeks up to maybe a month. I plan on changing it when I hit 2000 posts.

I changed mine when I hit 300 posts. (I'll change it again once I'm allowed a bigger avatar size)

I think it's dumb to change avatars very often. They're what everyone sees you as; they should be personalized, unique, and consistent.

I'll change to a different Ricci pic every now and then, but for the most part, my avvy is permanent.

Not as often as I used to. There's no set time frame as to when I'll change it. Really I'm just lazy about at this point.

I changed mine twice since I joined in 2005. I can't remember the first one but the second I had until recently was

I kept the first one for 4 years. Then I kept the second one for 3.

I guess I'll keep this one for 2.


Personally the only way to recognize many of the members is through the avatar. When you change your avatar, El Payaso probably thinks you're someone different. And if you change your avatar to the same as other member's he think you're him.

If I find soemthing better than whatever it is I currently have, I'll change it. I also change it during holidays like Halloween and xmas to a modified version.

This one I have right now I think I will have a long long time tho, it/she is perfect in that photo hehe

I've changed my avatar once. Don't think I'll change it for a long time. I kinda like it. Although once I can have a larger one, I will probably replace it, but using the same image.

I've only changed mine 2-3 times & i've been sticking with this current one for quite sometime. I might decide to change it later in the year, but will definitely not delete it.

I don't feel I am a crazy but I do change my avies often and enjoy it. I think they give hints as to what kind of person I am and how I am feeling. I have been fortunate through the years to receive many beautiful avies from very nice people and I love showing them all.
