Homecoming How Should Marvel Announce The New Spidey Actor?

Like they did with Andrew Garfield, have a press conference announcing the new Spider-Man actor. If they wanted to go all-out (which I think they should do), they could have Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scareltt Johansson and Mark Ruffalo welcoming him to the team, preferably in costume. Now that would be cool.

Huh he actually made the thread.

Huh, well most of you saw my RDJ and Evans Idea here:
Maybe Dylan...er..I mean whoever the actor is has the mask on and then he tries to speak. But then RDJ comes out of nowhere

"Did you tell them yet?"

He shakes his head and then tries again. But then Chris Evans comes in.

"Did you tell them yet?"

Fustrated the actor takes off his mask revealing *insert name here* is Spider-Man.

"If you'd just be quiet for one second I probably could!"

Then everyone goes insane cheering. Twitter and Facebook explode, the internet shuts down and the world collapses in on itself. Okay, might've wet a bit far on that last part but you get the picture.

There's also my more recent and imo more likeable idea involving JK Simmons as Jameson.
Jameson: "The Menace Is Back folks! But don't worry I won't rest until I get rid Spider-Man!"

Cue Spider-Man landing behind JJ and startling him.

Spidey: "Eh, pickle puss just missed me."

Cue Spider-Man taking off mask and revealing actor.

Jameson: "P-P-Par..."

Cue JJ fainting and then the internet would break down.

Both really cool ideas. They can also reveal him at the Red Carpet Premiere of Age of Ultron.

Civil War style. Reveals costume and actor, two spiders one stone.

For me the two ways should be this:

1. They do a press thing with robert and start playing off the civil war spidey reveal. Talk about spidey in mcu and Yada yada. In comes in actor in costume(not real suit) and he walks up starts to remove mask and reveals I ...... am spiderman.

2. What others said reveal first Jk is back as good old jj. Have him in a office setting belating the menace that is spiderman. And in drops actor again in suit do a like play off things. And then removes mask say who he is and talk about he can't wait to play spidey.

I'm sure the actor will be on the red carpet in the premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron but he'll be revealed before that for sure.

They'll probably make a big event like they did with Garfield but BIGGER and BETTER, with RDJ and the way they'll do it will probably be similar to the way he was revealed on the Civil War comic book.

Great ideas all around
I'd personally have him do it like Civil War.
My name is Dylan O'Brien, and I've been Spider-Man for 2 months.
[Crowd goes crazy]

Don't say it like this you'll jinx it... :/

Just do a press release with quotes from the actor and a possible costume picture. No need to hold a press conference just for Spidey. None of the other superheroes did. If there is an event then sure do the Civil War thing but there isn't an event so just go the normal route.

Come on spidey in the crown jewel of marvel. No way it just be a simple press eelease. If they did a whole thing for bp actor. S piney should get something big.

They didn't do something big for Black Panther though. He was just a footnote to the Marvel Slate announcement. Garfield's announcement was part of Sony's version of D23. I don't believe they'll hold a press conference for just one hero. Nor do they need to. Spider-Man's name gives them the traction a conference would. If it's a choice between a spectacular announcement at Comic Con/D23 in a couple months or a press release tomorrow (hypothetically) I'd choose the press release.

Maybe they could do a press release and announce the actor. Then do a big event later where they show the costume and everything.

Or here's a very very farfetched idea. I am stating as a fact that this will never happen but it'd be absolutely hilarious.

If the actor was running through a hallway then ran outside to meet up with RDJ, Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Chadwick Boseman, and Benedict Cumberbatch all in costume and then Josh Brolin comes out in a Thanos mask with a plastic Infinity Gauntlet toy speaking in his Titan voice.

"Pft, even your so called Spectacular Spider-Man can't stop Thanos."

And then the video ends. That'd be awesome. I also realize nothing I suggested thus far is going to happen. But it's still fun to think of scenario's.

Have Dylan, or whoever gets/got the role tweet the press release with the Spider-Man theme. Sony and Marvel retweet it.

Huh?! But Black Panther ISN'T Spider-Man! So why would they make an event to reveal who's playing him?

They kindadid make a big event to reveal Black Panther they had RDJ and Evans fightover him and everything.

But this is Spiderman in the MCU. This is THE most anticipated announcement in Hollywood right now. They will want to take advantage of that hype.

I'm partial to a beat for beat remake of the scene from Civil War (the only difference is replace "Peter Parker" with the actor's name).

So was Batman and his press release made national news. Sure some of that had to do with a controversial A-lister being cast but still.

If they don't do it months from now at an event then they'll have to rent a venue and fly to actor(s) to it just so they can say "I'm Spider-Man."

Hey a press release alone would send this forms in to a frenzy. Marvel could literally just type the actors first name and everything would just be chaos.

Yeah but this is MARVEL not DC!
