The animation is hideous and the voices are obnoxious, but the writing is really clever. I can only take it in small doses because of the 1st two points, though.

I was skeptical too because EVERYONE wouldn't shut up about it. It had already finished season two when I got around to it. But when I gave it it's day in court I could not deny it's utter ****ing brilliance.

There is definitely something off-putting about the show, that takes a few episodes to get past. I don't know if it's the animation style, or the voice acting, but it's there. I didn't start it until well after the first season ended, and it took me a while to go back to it after watching the first two episodes.

But once you get past that, it's pretty amazing.

...South Park is still better though.
