How was your Father's Day?

I have to say that my kids and the wife really came through for me this year. I got breakfast in bed followed by cards and gifts the kids made and got for me, then, later, they took me out for a steak dinner. All in all, a pretty great day. t:

I went to work and watched some soccer, team won. Yay! I guess my dad liked what I got him. He took my son swimming, which I think he likes doing since he has two girls. He now gets to live out dreams of pretending to raise a boy.

I'm not a father but one of my co-workers wished me a happy fathers day anyway. It made me wonder of my girlfriend hadnt told me something.

I'm not usually a fan of this holiday because I'm not a part of my daughters life but this year I got my dad a cool tactical chefs apron from ThinkGeek since he grills out a lot. I can't even remember the last time I did something nice for him so it felt really good to do that. He has bailed me out many times over the years and always stuck by me no matter what so for him to get all excited about what I got him made me really happy

That's awesome. My six year old son gave me a sheet he wrote up with a bunch of "facts" about me. First on the list was that he thought I was 39 years old. Truth is, I'm a bit older but always tell the kids I'm only 39. The 9 year old doesn't believe me anymore but the 6 year old apparently does.
