How Will Marvel Juggle The Netflix Series?

So does marvel or Netflix own the rights to the current characters on Netflix? It would be a shame if it was another universal situation.

Maybe Disney still has them but they have to wait a few years and reboot? Sucks for the current cast but it sounds like Disney wants everything on their streaming service and Netflix won’t give it up

Marvel owns the rights to the characters, but Netflix has production rights. They commissioned the stories and it appears they have the rights to keep renewing that until it gets cancelled. That being said, I do think Marvel has equal ability to end the relationship and not continue the show and I don't think reboots count as the same thing, unlike with the movies. TV is different from movies since the networks commission and pay for the show. I think Marvel television is less picky when it comes to where they make their shows.

My issue I have with these Netflix shows is that they should have not connected them to the movies in the first place. Jeph Loeb was made to look like a fool when he said it's all connected. What they should have done was make it like how Warner Brothers does it with the DC Berlanti Verse on CW: 2 separate universes with no connections to each other in terms of storylines. Plus the storylines in the movies seem to have no affect on the Netflix shows at this point. At the rate things are going, the events of Infinity War won't happen to the Netflix heroes until Spider-Man: Far From Home is out.....on DVD.

The announcement of Marvel shows on the Disney Streaming service doesn't help the Netflix shows either, especially when Feige is involved. The Netflix Marvel and the rest of the MCU will be disconnected even further when these heroes arrive:

as well as these guys:

because of those shows are still around by the time the X-Men and Fantastic Four arrive in the MCU, it causes more problems for the Netflix shows.

Hmm so it sounds like they just licensed them out? I hope so. Maybe this is a good way to get daredevil to join the avengers one day?

Clearly they were always hopeful. Charlie Cox has said that his contract included an option for movies.

Oh nice! They should pop him in then. Unless he got snapped lol
