Honestly, I agree with that idea. Since it's such a bad movie, a remake could be an excellent chance to vastly improve it and make up for the original.

Now, the major issue is how you have for voicing Howard. Any ideas?

You can get bootlegs of it...but I don't think it has ever been officially released. I liked it....thought it was fun. I actually had my VHS copy out this morning...tried to burn it to a DVD, but it had macrovision .....I wish it would come out on DVD.

I used to love this movie as a kid. I recently watched again as an adult and I went, wow this is bad. A remake? I suppose it could work, but as far as the original coming out on DVD, i'm not excited about that.

Because cute and fun aren't really Howard the Duck. Howard the Duck's supposed to be more crude, irreverent, and rife with political satire.

I agree. Its weird because I never found Thompson hot in the Back To The Future Movies. But she was smokin hot in this.
