I only have a few minor complaints. First, the one clip on his cape will not clip in all the way.
Also, the removeable hands and head is too hard to take off and on. So I'm not going to switch them around anymore.
I also found hair and dust sticks to his rubber so easily. Any suggestions as to the best way of cleaning it? Besides keeping him behind glass.![]()
Thanks alot dude! And I've tried getting that clip in and it just won't go in! Oh well, I'll try a few more times. Thanks again for the tips!It does require a bit of tinkering with, but it will clip flat. I have done it with mine. Pull the armour up a bit. Push the clip in as far as it goes then pop the clip back. No force required. Then slide the chest gently back down after gently pulling it up to leave enough space for the clip to seat correctly.
Once you have the hands out with the pegs still stuck into the hands. Stick them into a bowl with near boiling water. Hot water from the tap should suffice. It has to be hot enough to burn you. It wont ruin the fists/pegs or such. It's just enough to make the plastic flexible so they don't break. People have snapped them so many times not doing this, and don't just pull the pegs straight and out. Gently maneuver it like the kids bow and arrow suckers till it pops out.
I do agree, I've only swapped hands a few times and just leaving it. Very brittle pieces. Especially at those prices. I have his right hand open and the left clinched like the scene when Rachel died. I really like that pose. Standing on the ruble.
Well some say a damp cloth and water, but I'd be very very careful regarding that. Somebody marked his leg. Must have been the type of cloth used.
The best way is either blowing the dust off. Or get an air can, they come with a straw nozzle thats good enough for shooting the particles off.
Just make sure you practise on a piece of paper first before shooting. They can sometimes spit out the liquids at certain angles. The cans freeze up fast when spraying that shoots out the freezing liquid if not careful that could mark the suit. As the rubber is so delicate on the stomach area, especially.
Oh great! Just when I thought I was sure I wasn't going to get it, you guys post amazing photos. Now I'm debating again! lol
This figure is even better in person. Trust me.I've been considering getting this figure, but from the pics doesn't the nose look massive, I'm sure it's not that big in the film?
