There is a jet in the Hudson River. Anyone else watching?

Yeah, just saw it on the breaking news

New York's going to be the new frikkin Bermuda Triangle

Looks like a bird got into the engine, but most (hopefully all) of the people have gotten out, thankfully.

I'm in NYC now - my boss's sister saw it crash. Scary stuff.

YEah, that has to bring up all kinds of bad memories for New Yorkers. I'm just glad that the pilot seems to have performed so admirably.

Yeah, it definitely makes us a little jumpy. We've all got the TVs on in the office right now watching the coverage.

I should also point out that it's also barely 20 degress in NY today, so it's definitely not a great time for a swim in the river.

It's been reported now that the plane made a water landing and everyone on board is OK. Whew!

Great pilot!

My dad is flying to NYC today. My heart stopped when I first saw it on CNN.

I'm watching it on tv right now, and the pilot really did an incredible job.

Did it really just sink afterwords? What a waste of a perfectly good plane.

Can birds really take out two engines at the same time? It might be something else that cause the plane to crash.

I heard a loud bang (like when you pop a paper bag full of air) outside my dorm this afternoon. Could have been that.

This is just terrifying! Major kudos are in order for the pilots of that plane!

They should take back the key to the city they gave to Brett Favre and give it to the pilot.

So basically the plane in The Incredibles that sucked up Syndrome was pretty much ****ed.

That's what my boss's sister said she heard. It was like a loud boom, and they saw the plane going down.

I was leaving work, and I saw a few police cars escorting a truck with a crane on the flatbed towards the scene. And I saw all the flashing lights in the river as my bus was coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel tonight.

Glad everyone is OK!!!
