Hulk Hogan sues Cocoa Pebbles, brother!

I guess the money Hogan's been sucking out of TNA isn't enough for him. I hope the judge throws the case out.

Why would the judge throw the case out? Hulk Hogan seems to have a legitimate complaint to me. They're using his name for profit which is against the law.

As usual, I would have to agree with you Walrus. It looks like a fairly easy win for the Hulkster on this one. Much easier than taking on Big John Studd.

Exactly, if the Cereal company was smart, they would settle out and pay him off. It is worse that the called the character Hulk, which is something Hogan (from what I remember) has to pay Marvel to use the name. So, like I said, pay Hogan, and don't ever air the commercial again.

I just find it funny that he called the commercials "degrading"

It is hard to degrade a guy who became famous oiling himself up and rubbing on other dudes, but I guess it's still possible.

He wasn't called Hulk Boulder back in the day though. He was called Terry Boulder when he wrestled in the Alabama territories. Hogan acts like his washed up ass is still relevant to the current fans and wrestling world. He's just doing this for the money.

That's clearly not a cartoon version of Hogan. It has a full head of hair, not the patented ultimate mullet.

It looks like a parody version of him in the mid-80's. The deal begins & ends with them giving the commercial character the name Hulk. Obvious lifting of his likeness and name recognition, they owe him money.

Still, mid-80's Hogan still had the lovable bald spot.

yeah it vaguely looks like 80's hogan anyways. Bottom Line, he wants $$$

you show 'em Hogan! fight them commies

The character's name is Bulk Boulder. It also bears similarities to Billy Graham, John Studd, Jesse Ventura and others. I don't see anyway that
Hogan can prove this is trademark infringement.

If Hulk were in a better place in his life, he would probably be flattered by this. Instead, he's a desperate man doing desperate things.

The name phonetically sounds like Hulk, which was the point, along with copping his look (the blond hair & handlebar mustache). They need the character to sound and look like a big name wrestler to sell their product. You put this in front of a jury, they will agree with what I'm pointing out.

Cole: VINTAGE HEADBUTT! :hehe:

:lmao: I can hear Cole saying that. That reminds me a while back, when Vince was TV commentator with Jesse Ventura, there was this wrestler that did an armdrag and Vince screamed: WHATTA MANEUVER!!!! I think he must've been drunk that night.

yeah I saw many matches from the past with Gorilla Monsoon, The Body Ventura, and Vince in commentating

JR>Vince>A drunken monkey>Whoopi Goldberg>Michael Cole

Goldberg sucked Kane. When are you going see the enlightenment? *goes off to play Kurt Angle's theme song*
