Hype! Deathmatch: The Return!

So, hows Hype! Idol coming, Bamf?

That won't be till next year, I would assume. I'm not going to throw it on people when Survivor and Deathmatches are going on, and then The Hype! Awards coming soon.

Why not have someone like Kane or Henchy host the Hype Awards this go around. I think we'd need someone we know would finish the task to do it, and preferably people big in the community, but new at the sametime. I think posters who have been here since 2004 or 2003 might have too much nostalgia for people who are not big community people anymore. I include myself in this grouping of people here too long to do it. The hype has changed a lot since those years, and new posters are taking the guard. Why not formally pass the reigns of the site over to them?
Well SF, you were never popular. :o

It should be someone who's at least familiar with the format. Think CC or TOB if he kicks his procrastination habit would be fine choices.

I suspect that a poster to rise from the ranks to use the power of SHH to host the SHH Awards.

Or you know someone who has nothing else better to do.

You watch Transformers The Movie 1986 waaay too much.

You're just trying to pull down the awesome oldbies into your mess of mediocrity. You know you wouldn't be cut out for the job... so you're trying to take me down with you. Well, I say psh.

Also, this bull about me not being able to finish things happened with Hype! Idol when I had many more serious obligations that came up. You know, like, real life things. Let's not forget that that still exists.

The Hype Awards take up much less time than Idol... I assume. I think Bamfer could do it.

A CC and Bamfer combo would be kind of cool, actually. I look forward to the arguments.

You mean who wants more time in makeup and why there aren't a bowl of just green M&Ms in their dressing rooms?

Hype! Idol lasts much longer than a month, though. And I'm planning to start the new year with it. The Hype! Awards always come at the end of the year. It wouldn't work out.

I had to read that about 4 times in my head to figure out how to pronounce "out-stubborning"

if you start nominations for the awards like around the end of November and do all the voting etc in December you can present the winners early january and start idol around the end of january

Yeah, well...your face! :cmad:

Popularity is honestly not important to me.

I am in no way trying to cut in on anyone. I helped Erz out with the awards in 2008 with nomination tallying. I have no interest in doing that again. I'm also not hating on you for not finishing stuff. I made that comment mostly for Darth and knowsbleed (for last year's DMs and Hype Awards). I know you had stuff come up during Hype Idol 2. My only point was its a new community around here, so why not have the hearts of it now do it. Guys like Erz are less involved now.

I don't even know what's going on :(

This thread has gotten interesting. Bamf is somehow a 'Brian Dunkelman' personality who can't 'seal the deal' and SF is taking up the banner of unpopular kids.
