I'm very happy with the turnout so far. There's definitely enough potential Idols to start the game - so, I assure you it will happen. But I plan to keep the poll open a few more days to make sure those who'd like to participate, will be able to show their interest.

I'm leaning toward private messages as of now. If it were a poll, everyone could see who was leading. And no one knows who's got the most votes till the results show on Idol. Unless there's a way to make a poll so only the creator can see the current tally, private messages seem to be the way to go.
